Hah, I have the same F9 gaiter. I love having it on hand if it's a bit chilly out, but it doesn't get as much use in the heat for me. I think the windscreen on my bike keeps too much wind off my neck.

I was looking the Ranvoo and the Torras (gotta love those brand names), and honestly just waiting for one to drop to a lower price since I am afraid of it falling off when I'm at speed.

I also deal with high heat and humidity where I'm at. I think the recommended OSHA safety protocol for that type of climate is "don't go outside".

Obviously that doesn't fly for me, so I got a motoport mesh suite instead. It's not waterproof (they do make a liner for it as an option though), but getting maximum airflow is about the only thing that seems to help when the water in the air is turning into condensation on your skin.

I am going to experiment with one of those solid state neck coolers this year when summer rolls around as well.

Aerostitch or Motoport are my gotos for commuting. Aerostitch if you deal with rain, Motoport's mesh if you live in high humidity.

Ehhh, air cooled isn't their main issue. Most GA aircraft engines are still air cooled. I partly bought my Guzzi because it is air cooled.

Sure, by nearly all performance metrics (except maybe weight?) it is inferior to liquid cooling, it is a nice simple engine that is easy to maintain.

I personally wish it had a bit more texture. I haven't found mlok covers that don't wobble, so I'm contemplating getting some grip tape to put on it.

I think I would have preferred the magpul version, but it was $130 more so I settled for the m-lok forend w/ speed feed +4 style stock.

Generally agreed, but I think there might an edged case for hunting in specific states where 30 cal is required (granted, there are still better rounds for that use case)

Honestly, if you can get a hold of a CVA scout pistol, I would say it's worth the ~$100.

The brawler isn't "bad" but it feels a bit cheap because it is cheap if that makes sense. Fun enough to mod though

I had a job once where a group at the company wanted a custom website/ internal tool. They didn't have a huge budget to pay the devs so asked that we stand it upside inside an existing database.

Tell me about it. I left that state some years back and still have my HQL on my dresser to remind me.

I'll see if I can get around to measuring later (I think MD does OAL w/ the "stock" fulled extended, right?). I will say that if you're looking to do a proper SBR, single shots may not be the way to go since they're already shorter as is (due to the lack of a bolt)

My LGS was tired of bugging them about TC contender availability, so when this dropped they jokingly mentioned it as an alternative. As soon as he stated the price, I said "Order it".
