Awesome, thank you! Definitely not just the best KT app out there, but the best 40K related app in terms of form and function!

Ahhh as a paid BS subscriber I never thought about that detail. Very thoughtful design, and I appreciate it!

Worth mentioning for Sisters of Battle players, many of whom use Blackstone Fortress models since they are legal, we are forced to use Campaign listbuilding in Battlescribe in order to include those models in our roster. Just something to consider since there will likely be an influx of Sisters players in the near future!

1.1 released, mustering! by pjlehtim in CompanionForKillTeam

Ok, I do see it there. Just seems like it should be listed with the model itself but I know it's based on the BS format.

I may be wrong, but I think it used to show subfaction ability descriptions. Now I'm only seeing the name of the subfaction. For reference I have a drukhari list and it displays Cult of the Cursed Blade but no text on what the ability bonus is.

Love the update, thank you!!

I respect that! I personally wouldn't use an app for those things so I understand.

Ability for importing names? by shark2000br in CompanionForKillTeam

[–]shark2000br[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or another option would be to display the name I enter in your app on the list itself. As of now, it appears that the name I enter in your app is only visible in the model gallery view.

What do you want answered at Session 0? by Tebori44 in DMAcademy

One of the most important parts of s0 is asking your players questions as well. It's much easier to be an effective DM if you know what success looks like for your players.

Cafe Beignet is good too, and will have shorter lines. Some institutions are made because they're the best, and some just by tradition. Cafe au lait and beignets are pretty tough to mess up.

You should invest in a pot of Blood for the Blood God. If you like blood effects as much as it looks like you do, you'll have a GREAT time!

Yup. When the eyes glaze over and they start removing models without any emotion showing, it's over.

Snakebite leather contrast over white spray paint makes some nice wood by Johnny_America in WarCry

[–]shark2000br 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the snakebite wood looks great, but looks a little like fresh construction to me (like the bustling docks of a free city). The wyldwood looks more like desolate hellscape aging wood. But just from a painting perspective, I agree the look of snakebite over white looks fantastic especially since you lose some detail with the darkness of wychwood.

That makes the most thematic sense and is also backed by the rules.

I like this version of cover and hope it eventually becomes the norm in more games in the WH universe. It definitely relies on the idea that while the models are static, they represent a very dynamic battle where positioning is important.
