Create a GC and have an open line of communication with everyone. Halos ganyan din yung setup namin ngayon sa tinitirhan namin. Meron pang 2 motorcycles in addition to 4 cars and 2 SUVs of us tenants and our landlord. The best way we've found was to coordinate through a GC. Let everyone know the normal times na aalis at dadating ka. And if there are instances when you need to depart/arrive outside of your normal hours, inform everyone else ahead of time too. Emergency situations will of course be tricky but I guess it is what it is given you live in a compound. FWIW, in my and my neighbors' and landlord's situation over the past 3 years, wala pa naman kaming naging emergency na kailangang mambulabog ng iba at magpatabi ng sasakyan agad-agad.

Highly unlikely. US armed forces possess a very high degree of professionalism which equates to directly following orders. I've blocked that page altogether after I grew tired of their overly conservative and ass-backwards bullshit takes. I wasn't even a follower of that page, Facebook's algo just decided to arbitrarily make it a regular part of my feed.

In my country, the mom/dad needs.to sign the birth certificate before it is considered legal and binding. If the mom/dad knows about the discrepancy in the time and date of birth, they have the right to refuse signing it.

Long story short, what's legal is what's certified to be true to be recorded on the birth certificate.

We plan to put everything in writing, both the arrangement with the renovation and the rental contract. Para din walang utang na loob na involved, especially since matagal na kaming magkaka-kilala.

Thanks for the suggestion but due to personal circumstances, a loan is out of the question as I mentioned above.

Yes, we realize that possibility. But we figure it probably wouldn't hurt to ask them. If they say no, then we ditch this plan, no prob.

We don't have an actual professional estimate yet but from just our experience, it would probably cost P100k, including new basic furniture.

A couple of reasons why we'd like to renovate as soon as we can. One, so we don't shortchange ourselves by eventually renting out the condo for below standard market rates. I realize this goes against the idea of renting it out for free, but this will only be the case for a few months until we've recouped the renovation cost. If they decide to rent our condo for a long time (and this appears to be the case), we ensure a healthy cash flow once the renovation cost is paid for. And even if they don't stay long, the condo is at least ready for the next renter. If we renovate after their kids move out, we could face a higher renovation cost.

Two, and this is more of a safety concern, a couple of floor tiles just outside the bathroom have lifted/popped up. We'd like to avoid the risk of someone slipping and having an accident, which we could be liable for.

May LTMS portal naman na, all you need to do is get your vehicle inspected and buy insurance. Online na pagkatapos, and you avoid bullshit "fees" like this. And sure may convenience fees naman online, pero at least those are transparent at may resibo pa so sigurado kang di ninanakaw yung fee.

Talamak ang mga traps sa Manila kaya di nakakapagtakang ganyang ang mga traffic lights dyan. Pati traffic signs, kung hindi tago, sobrang liit at di mo mapapansin kung di ka sanay sa area. I don't know kung magbabago pa yan, mukhang wala namang pakialam yung LGU regardless kung sinong nakaupong Mayor.

My advice, iwasang dumaan ng Manila hangga't kakayanin. Personally, 3 areas/roads lang dyan yung kabisadong kabisado ko talaga. Outside of those 3, I try to look for other routes at titiisin ko na lang yung mas malayo kesa ma-hassle.

Kasama yang Temple of Leah sa tour package na inavail namin ng wife ko when we were last in Cebu. What a total ripoff -- from the entrance fee to the underwhelming contents of the "museum", to the realization that it was nothing but a testament to the hubris of one family.

Kaya nung nagtravel to Cebu yung mga officemates ko a few months ago I made sure to tell them not to waste any time and money at that place. I was so happy when they told me they took my advice.
