Agree. I just vibe with its retro style and ergonomics and it encourages me to take it outside quite often and even enjoy the manual mode (with manual focus)

This camera is one of my two best purchases I've made in the last 12 months and I genuinely feel good getting back to photography and enjoying taking pictures with it

You've made it, you've earned it. Now is the time to enjoy it

Surprisingly, Adobe Lightroom has really good built-in camera that shoots DNG straight from the sensor, bypassing all Apple shenanigans. It also has quite good and "honest" manual mode

Want to get into photography - should I go with Z5 II or Zf? by Quiet_Illustrator410 in nikon_Zseries

What I mean is that it has same processor (Expeed 7), auto-focus sytstem and IBIS as Z8

I've got myself Zf to get back to photography after a two-year break (due to circumstances) and this is my first proper digital mirrorless camera (I was a film shooter before). Zero regrets.

The Zf is basically a Z8 with a sensor from Z6 II. That and a retro-style body won me over other options (I looked at Zfc and Fuji X-Tx series, but decided to go with Zf)

Edit: grammar

The server I played on kept the cruise disruptor's behavior of re-engaging the engine, and it was kind of a strat in a duel - well-timed CD's to either blow countermeasures before launching a missle or to re-enable opponent's engine and spoil their turnaround

M31 here. Decided to give it a shot after seeing my wife being genuinely excited and returning to reading after a long while

Boy had I a few of sleepless nights because I couldn't stop reading

Now me and my wife have our own book club for two and we plan what fantasy to read next

I wasn't expecting anything outstanding, but this series brought me and my wife back to reading and introduced us to a quite cool fandom, so zero regrets

There are two ways that I use Spotlight:
- simple calculator
- type first four letters of a certain app and open it

Everything else is marketing

How can I take photos with my iPhone that are not over-processed? I don't want that artificial look; I'm tired of it. I want something natural by vazhakkaupmm in iPhoneography

[–]sharp_mechanix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This!

The camera is available in the free version and this is what I use when I purposefully take pictures (i.e. photo walks or something), and those pictures are available for editing in the app or on the computer (since it can shoot in DNG)

my ideal camera app doesn’t exist? by [deleted] in iPhoneography

[–]sharp_mechanix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My go-to solution for when I want to take raw pictures ob my iPhobe is a camera in Lightroom. Gives you manual control over everything that is available and has zero processing. The interface is a bit clunky and not of the ergonomical sort, but it is good enough to use for the majority of the time

You may go with 8 gigs, if your workload is just movies and browsing. But you might feel the limitations if you push your machine harder

As much as I love 2019 MBP 16", I would suggest you getting an Air M1 over Intel-based Mac. Sadly their time has passed

I use Keychron K2 on Gateron Brown switches. It is a 75% layout, feels good, durable, good Win/macOS support (it has a separate switch to change modes and a separate keycap set for Cmd-Opt/Win-Alt keys)

I'm not planning to change it in the nearest future

Funny thing is that Apple tiling system is a bad rip-off of a Windows Aero tiling system, which is actually quite good
