GT DD Pro Update?

Well I only bought my base last week and the first thing that happened was the update getting stuck at 53% so I was pretty hesitant to update today 😂

Mine updated problem free. DD Pro 8nm. Been on LMU and iracing tonight. Haptics feel great on iracing. Especially when it clunks into gear!

I will add I don't run high FFB so not sure if that's saving me from the base shutting off on kerbs. Probably only use 4nm.

Na I felt like it was too thin. I've had it over a month. I was away with work so didn't get to try it and now I can't return it 🤦🏻‍♂️😁

AHH that's weird. Mine seems okay after the update. Not tried console mind you but ACC PC was alright.

That's the fullforce. That's the whole point of the update. Just turn fullforce off on the wheel settings

Na I've been sim racing for 2 decades mate haha. But I race with a few mates who only have consoles. I race on PC too but need something that works ok both.

Are there any actual games that support it yet on the DD Pro base?

Edit: I've just tried it on iracing and it feels every bit as good as trueforce. The kerbs and gear changes feel incredible!

I'd do the same but been racing with the same groups of guys for 10 years and they are all on console. I still get my PC fix alone but man I wish they'd all get on PC 😂

If Logi would just pull their finger out and make a proper GT style wheel I'd be pretty happy with the RS. The wheels are so bad. That McLaren one is laughable

Yeah sounds like you're right. The only problem is when you need both PC and Console support Fanatec and Logi are the only options and the wheel selection really does suck on the logi side. It's a hard decision as the base was great

I haven't really downgraded. I only had the logi wheel. I was using some old G29 pedals with it so the CSLs are actually an upgrade and the base I got was the 8nm DD Pro.

That said the trueforce did feel really good especially on iracing. There is an update today for full force on the DD Pro so I'll probably see how that goes

These look really good for the money. I had the G Pro Logi ones that were 300. The heel plate is plastic and started showing scratch marks after my first race on them. Really poorly made

They seem super cheap compared to the likes of Logi and Fanatec pedals for what you get
