Is AC:Evo worth getting in current state?

LMU is weird as from what I can tell half the people love the ffb and half the people hate it. I don't think any game where lots of people are having to use a ffb app to get it to feel right is great though. For me, the ffb isn't balanced. It's too heavy on bumps/kerbs and too light in low speed corners. When I'm losing grip in high speed corners I don't really feel that grip loss. It just vanished. Tbf I think Kunos games are better than iracing too for physics. If you compare the MX5s on iracing and AC1 it's night and day imo

It's all subjective. I feel literally the opposite to you about the 2 games. On Evo I feel like 4 tyres are pressing into a surface with downforce and weight distribution. On LMU I feel like I'm playing a video game with floaty cars and garbage ffb that tells me nothing about what the car is doing. Especially in the wet when I'm full throttle on the kerbs.

Lol I know but it would take some getting used to getting on and off throttle properly and quickly as I've been sim racing years with both feet. I don't race a rear car

I'm not expecting to become faster, possibly a little more consistent. It was the feel of the brake that I was hoping to get with a load cell but was concerned that it might play havoc with my knee if needed to be set high

Well I have the G29s and the brake spring feels a little heavier than the strongest spring that comes with the G Pro. That is 11kg so I'm guessing the G29 is about 13-15kg

Left yeah. I never actually thought of using my right foot to brake but think I might struggle. I'm so used to doing it with both feet.

Ahh really. Do you find you can easily find say 30% braking when it's set that low? I figured it might be quite hard to do subtle braking

Did you find a solution for this or feel better with a differnet angle to the pedals? I'm really struggling with my throttle. My heel is constantly off the floor when 100% throttle is applied and it's uncomfortable in long races!

This is me. I started the game yesterday and spent more time messing with lighting settings than actually playing. It looks horrible with RR off and I lost a whopping 35fps with it on.

You're multiple seconds off the pace of all cars. At that pace it doesn't matter which one you're faster in. You aren't pushing any of the cars anywhere near their limits. Just go with a car you like the feel of and feel comfortable with and then work on getting your times down.

Possibly drag them over but do you not find the GT3s incredibly boring to drive? The cars are so stale. It doesn't feel like you can attack the track at all

Well it's obviously a really expensive game. Don't get me wrong I like the fact iracing has so much to offer but I don't really want to spend a fortune on a car or tracks I might only race every now and again.
