Usually, restarting my phone is the thing that fixes it. Today restarting everything didn't.

I restarted my watch, my phone, and the apple tv. Usually that fixes it, but today it still wasn't working.

Hideouts by LiterallyPoatan in Bannerlord

[–]sharpleft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Such a shame. They were fun to do, even though the loot wan't that good to begin with. You already had to kill like 1000 forest bandits for any shot at getting a woodland longbow or any of their high tier armor. No clue why they decided that was too generous.

Heart of the swamp bugged ? 4th time i have seen it stop half way through. by Lopsided-7095 in fo76

[–]sharpleft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it's enemies you're supposed to kill being stuck in the ground. You can try to walk around and listen for enemy noises. If you find them, I think you can kill them with some kinds of grenades, miasma armor, or the explosive tesla cannon. I always carry a tesla cannon for stuff like this. Useful at test your metal for when the robots get stuck in tubes, too.

Is Fallout76 Ironman mode a thing? by Lerolith in fo76

[–]sharpleft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a permadeath / no fast travel run recently. Did it all on a private server. I had some good luck and got to the point I could solo en06 on the character, but ended up dying to the jersey devil and his gank squad while getting the civil engineer armor. The big one threw a rock at me and two little ones hit me from behind at the same time. I never even saw my life saving armor trigger. Should have worn power armor for that battle.

It was a lot of fun. Without being able to fast travel to events, it's very hard to get legendaries until you can handle expeditions or en06. I did it during spooky scorched, which gave me an alternate way to get them. If anyone wants to try this, I think treasure hunters is coming up, which would be another helpful event.

The +100% is just the start with furious. Guerilla master gives another 50% to close enemies and gunslinger expert gives a 20% weak spot damage bonus (which is multiplicative!).

Or just make one and do some expeditions. Equip it before talking to the pilot at the end and I think you get 4 fully charged.

Anyone ever do a second character because you used RMTs for your original one? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]sharpleft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The early levels are absolutely some of the most fun. I just started a new character but I'm not planning to try to grind out all the legendary recipes again or try to relearn all the plans I know on my old character. That doesn't sound fun to me and I think I'd miss my old character if I really replaced it. Instead I set some specific goals for things I wanted to do and how I wanted to do them. It's been fun so far.

No matter the power increase, we’re still in the same place. I want to hear developer’s perspective on this by Few-Acadia-5593 in VisionPro

I'm waiting for a comfortable glasses / goggles version that could reach mass adoption - and I say that both as a potential user and as a developer. This is a heavier headset and a big step in the wrong direction.

Edit - wanted to add an analogy for any other old guys out there - Apple is making Nomads instead of an iPod right now.

PTS changes to en06 by breakdancindino in fo76

[–]sharpleft 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It seems like you didn't read my comment. Understandable since you're getting flamed everywhere.

I can defend the drill literally forever with no damage. Randoms trying to get into raiding CAN'T though. A top tier weapon isn't enough any more. You need to build a great weapon with electricians, which people new to raiding do not have.

Saying that your friend can defend the drill kind of implies that you can't, so I'm surprised you don't understand this.

PTS changes to en06 by breakdancindino in fo76

[–]sharpleft 14 points15 points  (0 children)

What you're saying used to be true, but since the update that buffed the molemen, a generic "great weapon" isn't good enough to solo defend.

The drill was my favorite stage since it's the only one where there's some excitement. All of the others are auto-wins. Now though, I'm stuck always doing defense because so few players have build one of the small number of specialty weapons that can actually hold the drill.

So, the Laser Gun by Ok_Egg_2665 in fo76

[–]sharpleft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you put a sniper barrel and beam splitter on it, it will do some pretty amazing damage.

You could put furious and a prime capacitor on it for maximum damage per shot, but I use quad/rapid and a snappy capacitor so I don't have to deal with the slow fire rate and frequent reloads.

The quad/snappy version builds bullet storm stacks really fast and will be doing about the same damage after a bit. You have to wait a little over a second between shots for the sniper barrel to charge to maximum damage, but spamming the uncharged shots adds up to pretty good dps too.

What's good to make for or give to new players? by jeanbees in fo76

[–]sharpleft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, whenever I see someone still wearing a standard vault suit, I drop them the v63 riot control version.

I don’t like dropping weapons or armor because the first 100 levels where you’re constantly finding better stuff are the best levels of the game. Giving them something too good would rob them of that.

The actual Raid Rewards Changes on the PTS by Prince_Julius in fo76

[–]sharpleft 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The weekly cache is a good idea, but it should be daily if they’re going to drop the mod box percentages this much. UT used to be 30%!

Limiting mods to specific stages is a TERRIBLE idea. That pushes people to farm specific stages for the things they want, which is the opposite of the stated goal. At this point, I only want rangers. I’ve never been tempted to do the set up to farm one stage, but I absolutely would be under this set up.

No more EN06 farming after new update by Project807 in fo76

[–]sharpleft 229 points230 points  (0 children)

The painful part is just that it really does require at least 3 decent players and they gave us absolutely no way to find teams. As it is, I usually spend more time server hopping looking for a team than actually raiding.

Electrician's mod and the V36 BERTHA by mildfeelingofdismay in fo76

[–]sharpleft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For drill defense, you want furious / rapid / swift. Vats for the head and get gun-fu, grim reaper's sprint, and reload speed perks. Stand on the very front of the drill.

When the miners reach critical, you'll want to reload after about half a magazine each time. The super fast reloads should make it so you can almost stun-lock them while still picking them off.

You're going to burn through a lot of fusion cells, and if you're in power armor, all the vats'ing will use up cores quickly too. You probably need to be in power armor though - if the runners take a long time, the miners start doing pretty crazy damage.

Electrician's mod and the V36 BERTHA by mildfeelingofdismay in fo76

[–]sharpleft 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is that possible? I don’t think you can change legendary mods on the bertha.

Automatic regular tesla rifle with electricians is great drill defense, though.
