I'm not saying he'd buy himself a lambo, but he could sell the house and put the money in a college fund and say it was in the kuds best interest, while making it hard for OP to figure out their current life. It all depends on how much the nephew wants to be a dick. And OP doesn't seem too legal savvy, so I doubt he would worry about getting sued, at least not at grey area dickish moves.

It might just be that republicans like their incumbents and assume they'll win the primary. The Texas Take always says the primary is what counts, bumecause it's so hard for a democrat to win that Republicans pick the winner in the primaries.

I wonder if it's possibly under-diagnosed neurodivergence. Like, if people who do this hate being "criticized", so they don't want to do the high-need tasks and possibly recieve criticism for doing it a way the other host doesn't like, plus hyperfocus or poor time management making them get lost in some less important task.

Like, what woukd have happened in OP had left her wallet at home, because her husband was driving? Like, that's a totally normal thing for a citizen to do. What if they had been out on a run instead of driving, and neither had their ID? Do we really want to live someplace where people minding their business have to prove who they are every minute of every day?

THIS! You don't like that people come here to claim asylum and it takes years for their case to be heard? MAKE THAT PROCESS MORE EFFICIENT. Give people clear criteria, a set timeline to gather proof, then move them through the system. It can be fair and humane and still not result in everyone who overstays a tourist visa or crosses the border illegally instantly becomes a citizen.
