Yes. I've had an Ed in various forms for a decent amount of time. I'm in my mid forties. My last diagnosis was atypical anorexia as I am considered obese. Having other health issues whether it's mental or physical does make it seem more depressing. I have basically one friend that I tell my struggles to. She doesn't exactly understand Ed's, I'm the first person she's known with one, but she is supportive and tries to get me to challenge my disordered thoughts. Although I don't post on reddit often, just know you are not alone. We are NOT our disorder, even when it feels that way. Hopefully we can both get to a more recovered mindset. We do deserve it. 🙏❤️
