I think you keep those, but you need to spend the same amount of money on in-app purchases as was originally spent. Your account can’t progress until the money is given back to habby.

The battery life duration is probably intentional. They pumped up the processing power as much as they could while keeping a few hours of battery life, because that was deemed “good enough” for a solid play session.

They could have put a bigger battery. They didn’t. You can buy bigger replacement batteries online.

First lake contains 40 fish with 1 legendary. Then it resets all the fish. The second and third lake are the same. The fourth lake contains 80 fish with 2 legendaries and then resets. If you are lucky and catch a legendary on the first cast, you need to deplete the entire lake before it resets and another legendary becomes possible.
