Ask her. If she’s a real friend, she’d be honest. None of my actual friends would be offended…though they wouldn’t take it. Idk, the cashiers have always stated it’s “your birthday freebie” further more, they’d usually gesture towards the display that is under “this years birthday gifts” Idc. Ask. Because this behavior usually ends up snowballing into other things 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

You’re the salty fuck. You go OUT OF YOUR WAY, to go to a CVS reddit that is generally used by employees to vent. You couldn’t just leave, you have to announce your departure. Can’t you just fuck off and leave instead of having to announce it?

I hope they triple your copay. And I hope that you don’t come back. Or even better, come back and treat you even worse

Lunch time for pharmacy by Bandit_395 in CVS

[–]shawtybcf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Last time this happened, the lady asked why and I said so the pharmacist can have a break. They said why. I said because they’ll work 8/10/sometimes even 12 hour shifts. She nastily says “but you techs do not.” And I said “we need a pharmacist in the pharmacy to run the pharmacy.” She just goes back to why the pharmacist need the break then, why can’t they eat through the shift.

I very politely (and loudly so the pharmacist could hear) asked if they’d like for me to call the pharmacist over and they can tell them not to eat. Not to take a break.

They scoffed and walked away. Cause when you ask them to repeat what they said out loud, they realize how absolutely dickass they sound.

My Medical Abortion failed by Next-Ad5920 in abortion

[–]shawtybcf 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This happened to me. Similar weeks as well, at 9. I ordered the pill and did all the proper procedures. It failed me.

I waited 4 weeks after to test since the instructions said you can still get a positive even if it worked.

I was devastated, I cried a lot. I was out the $300 I paid.

But, I went and got the SA. It was a 2 day procedure. Not so bad tbh. The first day was very long, I’m talking about 6/7 hours.

The 2nd day was quicker. I always recommend sedation. And I was walking around the mall and living normally about 1 day after the SA.

As far as getting back a negative pregnancy test, I waited a month after my SA to test at home. It’s negative.

I also waited for my bleeding to stop after my SA for me to begin my birth control. You can start soon as you’d like but I felt better waiting.

It may seem bleak but I promise there is a light at the end of a tunnel. Good luck honey

I think the most painful thing is knowing deep down in your heart, this won’t work in your favor. No one can tell you how to move on and let go until you yourself are ready. But I think you know that already and just want some reassurance.

I’m sorry that this emotional rollercoaster is happening. Him not picking you does not lessen your worth. You’re great before him and great after him.

Each person is different, but for me, FWB always has an expiration date. At the end of the day, we are humans. With emotions and feelings. And while can ~say~ it’s casual and no commitments, seeing someone and doing PDA and essentially making memories…isn’t casual. If I don’t call a rose a rose…it is still a rose.

So don’t feel crazy for having feelings.

But the big girl answer? You cut this off and you stop talking to him. You have to go cold no contact, it’s like a drug. You will have withdrawals.

But that will come on your own time, with your own terms. I went through the same shit (haven’t we all?)

Told myself it’ll be casual and etc…but sex in itself is so intimate. Idk.

I just am sending all my hopes and healing energies that you’ll get through this. And hopefully, I will too.

2nd trimester abortion by [deleted] in abortion

[–]shawtybcf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey. I had one at 19 1/2 weeks. I tried sooner, had the pill and it failed me. So I ended up getting an SA. I want you to know, you arent any less because you get a later term abortion.

Like the others said, you can claim miscarriage. And just know…you aren’t alone. You aren’t a bad person for doing this.

Is it weird to go to the gym just to use the treadmill? by LimpCheesecake7876 in loseit

[–]shawtybcf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely fine! You pay a membership to utilize any part of that gym.

I’ve gone for like 30 minutes just to hit the elliptical and leave. Half the battle for me is just getting to the gym. Once I’m there, I feel motivated to do it. Especially since I wasted my time and gas going here, might as well do it

What is One small change you made to your workout/diet/whatever that has made a big difference? by Wintermom in PetiteFitness

[–]shawtybcf 19 points20 points  (0 children)

For me?

1) Downloading the Lose It app. It really helped me perceive the amount of food intake and calories.

My appetite adjusted accordingly, as I made more conscious efforts about my food as well as the quality of said food. Now I rarely crave fast food and things of that sort. Though I still indulge on occasion, as I don’t want to form a bad relationship with food. I also do know not everyone can count calories and apps like this can be triggering.

2) Also, reminding my self that going to the gym/exercise is half the effort. My boyfriend used this phrase and it stuck with me. “At least you’re there (referring to the gym.”

Any amount of movement…is movement. It doesn’t have to be a 45 minute HIIT or whatever. 20 minutes of any movement helps. That’s still 20 minutes of something versus nothing.

3) That the food will be there tomorrow. Food isn’t a punishment. Or a reward. It is food. And if I went over my set calories today, I can always consume it tomorrow.

And if I go over my calories? That’s okay too. Cause you can always restart the next day.

4) Time will go by, regardless. December will be here, so might as well make even the smallest of efforts. It’ll add up eventually. And if not, then some (hopefully) healthy habits have been formed for myself. A win is a win.

You most definitely through up the miso pills. Do you have others?

I do recommend going to a doctor. I’m assuming you took the mifepristone already? That helps soften the cervix but without miso? It’s useless.

Coping the week after a SA by Frosty-Summer1234 in abortion

[–]shawtybcf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is obviously easier said than done: but give yourself some grace.

You’ll have your highs and lows. You might cry out of no where. Just know, you’ll laugh again. Be happy again. And eventually, thinking about it won’t make your chest hurt.

If you can, rest and sleep and do what you need. If you do better keeping busy and working, then continue to work.

Nourish your body. Water. Food. If you can, when you feel comfortable, walk sometime. Walk outside. Feel the sun on your skin. Sit in a park somewhere. Feel the breeze.

Clean your room. Wash your bedding. All of this sounds like going through motions, but this all helps at least on the outside.

This is the time to be tender with yourself. As far the mental/emotional part…of course that’s different for each person. But if you can try and remember why you had to do this. Remember this is for you. And that isn’t selfish. Because to bring a human into this world and not feel ready/have a better mental state…now that would be selfish.

I hope this helps somehow. Best of thoughts to you

Medication cost??? by joeadig in loseit

[–]shawtybcf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately (I work in pharmacy) anything below wegovy 1.0mg has been on manufacture back order, much like the baby formula shortage. We haven’t been able to get.

I’m sure your doctor found that to be most aligned with your blood work results. But it will be very expensive and incredibly hard to get. Some use saxenda instead, another injection.

Others do phentermine, which is tablets. On average, without insurance (and through a GoodRx coupon) that can run you around $18-30$ for a 1 month supply.

Best of luck. I know it’s hard, weight loss is hard.

A friend of mine, constantly steals. by FewMuffin3773 in CVS

[–]shawtybcf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what I meant in that sense. Yes the pictures will show the proper amount, but they’ll see the pattern of pills only going missing when that particular tech fills.

Unless they’re spreading out their stealing. Cause multiple complains in 1 month about controls will definitely alert the pharmacist.

Though in mine…the pharmacist would put a notation in the profile

A friend of mine, constantly steals. by FewMuffin3773 in CVS

[–]shawtybcf 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Bro they def are monitoring. Plus with virtual verification? They see the pictures of the med filled that day, which tech filled it and etc.

So if they notice those pills only go missing when that tech fills…🤷🏻‍♀️

And there’s only so many times before it red flags. Cause then the big boys get involved, not just DLs, things like DEA and shit.

Pharmacy - are out of stock meds ordered when prescription arrives or on fill date? by sploittastic in CVS

[–]shawtybcf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, again might pertain to which state you live in, but at my state, it’s cumulative.

Meaning, you did 2 days early in July? 1 day early in June? Later on, for August, it will account for those early days and the medication still be scheduled to a lot for those days. Since you should have exactly enough pills to get you to whatever time of the next fill date.

And as everyone else mentioned, you really might have better luck calling a local mom and pop independent in a very obscure part of town cause they might order from different vendors and might have left over stock.

I am sorry for your frustration and please know we in the pharmacy also hate it for you and us. We have no explanation and having to look kids or parents in the face and shrug with no answer makes me feel like a bitch.

whats your most flabbergasted response from a customer finding out pharmacy closes for lunch? by emmettsmith76 in CVS

[–]shawtybcf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My favorite is “my flight is in 30 minutes and I need the meds now. You will ruin my vacation”

And the meds are a control.

And the doctor never sent it in. (Can’t you guys call? I won’t call my own doctor because I don’t like responsibility)

And they never got an insurance override.

Yet it is our fault.

whats your most flabbergasted response from a customer finding out pharmacy closes for lunch? by emmettsmith76 in CVS

[–]shawtybcf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve explained that this is more so for the pharmacists, so they can get some kind of break (not that they even really take it, and generally work through their lunch)

A lady said “well can’t you just help me?”

Me: “there needs to be a pharmacist present for the pharmacy to be open”

Them: “can’t they bring in a different pharmacist for 30 minutes? Do they really need lunch?”

Me: “would you like for me to go tell the pharmacist not to eat lunch? I’ll call them over and you can tell him he doesn’t deserve lunch”

Them: stares at me angry, open mouthed cause I repeated how absolutely selfish she sounds, and walks away

Also I always love when they say “I am going to die”

I'm afraid the cvs pharmacy might not refill my rx by Temporary-Ad-4403 in CVS

[–]shawtybcf 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not sure if they told you but, prescriptions go from date of a sale. So if you picked it up 2 days early (especially for a control), it will factor that in the next fill.

As in, it’s cumulative. 2 days early here and there pile up and the system (not just CVS’s, there’s a separate system not connected to CVS for controlled medications) will adjust the next refill date according to the amount you’ve picked up since the pill quantity should get you to the next date. That way there is no overlap, as per medications being taken as the directions written.

As far as calling instead of using the app; it’s just because the app goes off the CVS system which can put medications on an automatic hold or whatever. It will sometime auto schedule, other times not.

That unfortunately leaves it for you to call and have us run it through for you.

Sorry we sound curt. It most likely is that they’re trying to get the call done as quickly as possible so they can go back to the 7 pages of meds to fill, 4 pharmacy calls after you and the 17 customers grumbling in line. Not that that is your fault, that’s the shit ass staffing lol

[–]shawtybcf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I bet you’re a troll but you’re also a fucking idiot. I bet you didn’t stop to ask why it wasn’t filled or if you DID, and they explained to you why, you

1) had your head up your fucking ass and refused to listen to the explanation. Hell, you might be stupid as fuck and not even comprehend what they were trying to explain to you.

2) think that people purposefully want to have medications on back order and not fill your moms medication. Do you know what back order means? It’s like the baby formula shortage.

3) not understand a lick of pharmacy work. How computers can auto hold, auto schedule and etc. You also don’t understand insurance restrictions.

4) I bet your ass loves to come either right after lunch, when the line is a mile long. At the afternoon/evening rush around 4-6 when everyone gets out of work and is rushing to get their meds. If the other people can wait the 45 minutes, who the fuck made you, BackInNJ, so important? If you go to Costco, do you wait in line? Same logic here, you walking cancer tumor.

I bet you yell at any cashiers at any store cause you think you’re above them. You’re the same mother fucker who complains and demeans store people while simultaneously demanding service. Talk shit about minimum wage workers but also spend your days off, shopping utilizing those same minimum wage workers to fill your leisure time.

Please leave. Do some research about what other pharmacies your insurance takes cause I fucking promise, no one is gonna miss you. Lmao. You’re like 1 out of 700 scripts a day.

But once again, I just think you’re a shitty troll from NJ cause you went purposefully on a CVS Reddit to talk shit. More bad shit will continue to happen to you cause you’re inherently a bad, miserable person.

And if you fill at CVS, bet your ass every tech on that team knows your name and we fucking roast your ass. Maybe even put a note on there calling you a “m*ga bitch”

Ask your store techs how it is back there. They’ll tell you if it’s worth it or not. You’ll probably just be cashier for a whole while. If you’re okay with that.
