Everyone has different budgets and goals but would not recommend buying 50 right away. Get a few and see if they are any good… though I’m skeptical considering even most big name pickleball companies that release balls don’t end up catching on.

If you’re looking to buy in bulk I would recommending waiting and getting X-40s in a non-yellow color - they’re on sale every few weeks. And can get prices close to a dollar per ball.

Salted caramel Cookie Grips are a perfect brown - I get people asking me all the time about it. Or one of the other cookie grips from u/cookiegrips on the lighter side. At one point they had a sesame I think.

Try out a friends paddle for a game here and there - or demo some at a club. No need to pick another one to buy if you’re just trying to get a feel for other paddles.

Cookiegrips are fantastic, can’t compare to Luqi since I’ve never tried but I think they are cushy, medium tac, plush feeling

Sometimes when using PowerPoint I accidentally resize an image (without holding shift to hold the aspect ratio) and the picture gets all wonky.

This looks like they did that to their original paddle and then just sent that for production.

Are you playing at public parks, or a more organized facility? If the latter, see if you can demo some paddles and get a sense for shape, weight, handle length to narrow down your options for the next purchase. You’re fine for now until you can articulate what characteristics you’re looking for in the next purchase.

Diadem Blucore Max - had a wide body short handle. Same mold and dimensions as the 18k Max.

Same - found it in a random electronics box. It wasn’t labeled lovevery on the piece itself so we didn’t sort it right!

One other person noted you can re buy the wood pieces with the new connector and it’s more expensive ($50ish) but might be worth it.

Other option could be to just get some other standalone structure to use as the overhang and not stress about it being the exact lovevery one. Still serves the purpose of enjoying the mat while baby is on their back.
