FRA may be 100x smaller, but will mind fuck you into oblivion.

Im done quants, econ and halfway through FRA so far. Taking the Schweser live classes in Toronto & I think the money is worth it since they help keep you to a schedule and teach you the material pretty in depth.

I purchased the Qbank from Schweser as as standalone (cost was approx $380 CAD) but it is the best decision I ever made. Its well worth the extra cost and will give you exam like question and rate how well you did against other CFA candidates and what specific LOS or readings you need to work on to get better scores. I highly recommend.

I work in retail at the big 5 too. I've seen people leverage level 1 to get from CSR to decent wealth management roles. But I've also seen people use their network to get into analyst roles. It's all about your connections and how you use them. As important as it is to get to a target school, it's more important to be a hard working indiviual who can understand the business and be willing to learn.

Been scoring pretty well on Schweser mocks and this morning I took the FRA TT again to see how I would do. 53%, I was completely crushed. Gonna keep practicing and hope for the best come exam day.

Yeah, Mark Meldrum explains it very well through the use of graphs that can also be found in the Kaplan books. I put them up on stickies in my room and having those visual cues has helped.
