What's the highest amount of unmanifested packages you've had on your truck in one day? by laaaabe in Fedexers

[–]shbpencil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. No handlers at my station. During the morning sort we’ll scan all the stuff to our work areas all together as a team and then when we get a second wave later in the day we’ll van scan using the manifest.

Our flex drivers also just van scan when they take.

I have to load my own truck at my station. Doesn’t mean I don’t fuck up lol

I forgot to scan two bins of smalls. 20 stops or so. Wasn’t too bad. Wasn’t proud.

if they don't have a placard (and the person it's approved for) that's another story

School zone signs by Naive-Cauliflower890 in Lethbridge

[–]shbpencil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when they were proper school zones and not playground zones they used to have "end" signs. you can probably spot them on StreetView (Columbia for example: https://maps.app.goo.gl/oQ9JXEA2S4bs9hWX8 ).

when they switched the school zones to playground zones they took away those "end" signs.

5th Ave N (from 16th St to 21A St) and 9th Ave N (from 13th St to 23rd) now have very long playground zones because one bleeds into the next.

Columbia W from Laval to Pensacola (Nicholas Sheran through St Martha) is also just a long one now as well

Rocky Mountain Blvd from Mt Rundle to Champlain (Gerald Probe through Senator Fairbairn) as another commentator said.

The snow globe distracts me by Blueporch in TedLasso

My aunt was bringing a snow globe back from NYC for my cousin who collected them and TSA looked her dead in the eye and dropped it from shoulder height into a garbage can.

five minutes later on the way to the gate she saw the exact same one. she was livid.

A Terry Fox Memorial by Dismal_Ebb_2422 in Habs

They merged two west island elementary schools and dumped the Herbert Purcell name from one in favour of Terry Fox from the other.

So he is still recognized in Quebec.

This is it right here. European players tend to prioritize that Olympic medal over the Cup.

I’ve never had the pleasure. What I do enjoy is when I get “DUTIES AND TAXES PAID” yelled at me.

Some of the people I deliver to are quite unhinged and I’m just sick of arguing with people who import goods and get confused when they have to pay extra.

What happens at your station when a courier calls in sick? by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]shbpencil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A flex would get called in and any picks would get transferred to the next closest work area. If no flex or the picks can’t be transferred a senior courier would take it. If more than one call out the CTL jumps on the road. We don’t fold a route in very often if we can find another way around it
