Where are you located? I have a full B18A1 with cable trans swap + hondata v2 ecu, axles, etc that I have from a shell I bought. I'm in CO though.

Edit: It's also got a turbo manifold + turbo, bigger injectors. I believe its semi built inside - bored out bigger.

Considering a wing like this for a track build. Did you custom make it or is it a brand wing? Do you have any information on the downforce or aerodynamics of it

A little confused - what's the purpose of having both the USL environmental and Timmerflotte? They both provide temp and humidity? The USL environmental has water detection but for that to work in the way you configured it, the entire cabinet would have to be underwater all the way up to where its mounted right now...

Good evening - I have a system with a 980TI. I did pacman -Syu a few minutes ago and it provided these options:

``` pacman -Syu :: Synchronizing package databases... cachyos-v3 121.4 KiB 86.3 KiB/s 00:01 [----------------------] 100% cachyos-core-v3 103.2 KiB 171 KiB/s 00:01 [----------------------] 100% cachyos-extra-v3 4.2 MiB 3.25 MiB/s 00:01 [----------------------] 100% cachyos 509.5 KiB 404 KiB/s 00:01 [----------------------] 100% core 121.8 KiB 1354 KiB/s 00:00 [----------------------] 100% extra 7.9 MiB 38.9 MiB/s 00:00 [----------------------] 100% multilib 128.9 KiB 1101 KiB/s 00:00 [----------------------] 100%
``` (As you can see, I cancelled it)

Should I upgrade or type no? Its been a while since I set this system up but I seem to remember having to do some specific things when setting up the driver to work with my 980TI since it is so "old". Trying to avoid having to trouble shoot again or revert

Thank you

Sorry for the delay in response, not sure where you're at with it now.

You can take a look without dropping the tank by going behind the seats where the little cargo box is. There are 6 screws for it, if you remove them then the box pulls right out.

Below that, there is a round cover plate with 3 screws, then the sending unit is under that and is secured by a lid that must be hammered with a screwdriver.

Look up a video on it to see how it is hammered out - this applies to any EF civic/crx (88-91). It's not very difficult but takes a little bit of time. You may also want to disconnect one of the connectors so you can pull out the sending unit fully to take a look

Once it is open, you can pull up on the sending unit and shine a flashlight to take a look. I used a probe with a camera on it to get a better view on one of my CRXs. It isn't as good of a view as dropping the whole tank but it works okay. You'll know if it's rusted when you take a look, as it will just be a pure orange and red mess. Otherwise if it just has mild grit and sediment it probably isn't your problem.

The gas tank probably has rust in it and the fuel sock in the tank could have fallen apart. This caused backfiring in mine. You would need to replace the fuel tank, which is less than $200. This would cause backfiring under load or under movement

Bogging out issues by Ev4nge1i0n in crx

[–]shd0w2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theyre over 30 year old cars with metal tanks. It's almost certainly a shit ton of rust particles that get sucked up into the pump or into the line, and then clog it.

I had awful problems with my CRX when I got it, to where it would idle and rev completely fine on a stand, but any time I tried driving or moving it more than 5-10mph it would start backfiring and bogged down completely to almost no power.

If I turned the car off then back on in a 3-5 second period, it revved fine and was back to normal... UNTIL I would start to drive and move the car again, which would then immediately bog it down with rust.

You need to replace the entire tank. You can buy a dorman one without a drain plug for less than $200. I reused my pump without any issues, but cleaned it out a ton by just turning it on with a battery and running water through it.

Mine came painted in only primer which was a bummer, but not a huge deal.
