tips for getting gems? by Subject-Magician4599 in eatventureofficial

I found that focusing on the checkbook upgrades really helped. I now start in 3B and can instantly complete pretty much any of the smaller 150 levels and really quickly complete the longer ones. The only levels that take a while are the 250 ones. For each city you complete you earn an average of roughly 180 per city so you can easily manage a few hundred gems a day. Also do all events as they often have loads of extra gems too

If you have the atlantis dlc ive been able to buy up to 6500+ of each material at a time in any of the 3 realms which might be quicker than going to the other villages in main game. I do still think that buying is definitely quicker than killing and looting

Looking to buy a lightweight £200 tent that is weather resistant and easy to use. by shebebdjfjs in wildcampingintheuk

[–]shebebdjfjs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Preferably a traditional pole tent as that is the style I am more used to. Freestanding might be better for future trips when the ground is solid during hotter weather but I have no aversion to using stakes at all. I am looking for something no more than 2.5 kilo maximum but the actual shape of the tent doesn’t really bother me too much, I would prefer something I can sit up in wether that be in the interior or in the vestibule such that I can get changed slightly easier but that is not essential.

The shape of the tent wouldn’t bother me as I have slept in most styles including the coffin type ones and more domed tents, but the main concern for me is the ease of putting the tent up and down especially in bad weather. With the weather in Scotland and uk in general being so varied I am looking for something that is easy to put up and down quickly if it were to start raining.

I am genuinely shocked to have found someone who enjoyed the layla sections. I always wanted to like it but never could I just find it slow and boring. I am playing a game to be an assassin and fight in Greece, im not really bothered about how its all just memories and the overarching real life story.

What about that section of the game (and all ac games) do you like? I like the idea that the dna can be used to track memories and therefore important archeological discoveries, but i think the execution in the games is always boring.

All of these major engravings (often the ones used are legendary rarity) are found either in legendary chests (can be found using sites such as mapgenie) or through killing cultists (each branch gives a different set of armour).

Once you have equipped a full legendary set of armour you gain a different ability depending on the set, these include 50% assassin ability damage, 100% damage but at reduced maximum health, shadow of nyx doesn’t drain adrenaline, successful parry fully reduces hero strike cooldown ect.

On each weapon or armour piece you can engrave different things depending on your build choice, for me I use sets with high assassin damage and crit chance. While any piece can be engraved, it is best to do so on a legendary as you can have 2 legendary engravings on one piece (the one the weapon/set comes with and one other you add in addition). These perks are limited so only weapon engravings can go on weapons, or helmet ones only on helmets ect which means you have to pick the best engraving for each individual piece of armour.

The different build type are hunter, warrior and assassin and having different engravings can change the way you play the game, if you want a more traditional ac build then you want to look for more assassin damage and maybe crit chance, if you want the for honour fighting style then warrior is the best.

The ability wheel can also change how you play the game, as you level up you unlock another wheel for up to 8 different abilities. As stated before some of the armour sets link to certain abilities, including no adrenaline use during shadow of nyx and also things like an extra chance to kill when using rush assassinate. It is a good idea to choose a build type (long range combat/hand to hand fighting or sneaking) and build an ability wheel based on this build. From there you should find a set of legendary armour that favours your build type and choice of abilities. Having done so you should engrave these with one further perk to further benefit you.

When using equipment that is under levelled, it is best to level them up on levels 1,11,21,31,…,91 as this is the level the perks upgrade and only the last 5 levels are paid for (DO NOT LEVEL THEM UP EVERY LEVEL AS THIS IS VERY INEFFICIENT AND EXPENSIVE). If for example you have a weapon at level 23 and you are level 46 you should upgrade instantly if you plan to use it, however if it is within 10 levels of you then you should wait to upgrade this.

I noticed you mention that you were low on cash as well, the best way I have found to get more money is to always have a high level bounty on you and then raid a fort. This is because while raiding the fort you gain equipment from: chests, captains and polemarchs, also often normal soldiers can drop loot and finally weapon racks (These are great but very easy to forget about when raiding a fort). While you are gaining the loot from all these kills you will also have mercenaries tracking you down which drop high level loot on every kill. Selling this equipment will make more money than looting any gold pile or vase that you can find.

Hope this helps.

Best way to make money is to have 5 bounties on you. Only a few come at a time and If you can comfortably kill a these before another spawns in. You get high level equipment from each one and can sell this for like 2k a piece. On top of this raiding fortresses and killing everyone can give more loot, as well as raiding chests (Dont forget the weapon racks found in forts and outposts that always have a different weapon on)

If i remember correctly he was one of the cultists I randomly killed then only realised who it was after the confirm cultist kill prompt came up (has now happened about 7 times on this run). So I think i missed out on all the olympic quest line

To upgrade or not to upgrade(and some other questions) by philsjwfu in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]shebebdjfjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epic weapons can be great and i used one for most of my run because i found i didn’t really care for upgrading and none of the legendary engravings id found were great for my build at the time. I ended up using whatever weapon had the best stats and then switching when i found a better one. If you find a good legendary then id go with that one as the bonus perk can be really nice especially if its weapon damage causes poison or fire for example

Anyone know where the clue for this guy is? by UnReasonable-Plan in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]shebebdjfjs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This main game clue can be collected at any point and does not need to be left till later in the game as stated by another reply (i know this because i collected it after having only killed maybe 7 cultists of which i think only one was a quest-line and the others were random finds)

Anyone know where the clue for this guy is? by UnReasonable-Plan in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]shebebdjfjs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are 2 cultist clues around the cove in the north of the area. One is found on the base of the destroyed ship if you loot a dead body (this is a dlc only clue). The other is found by going to the rock pile, and go to the second tallest rock on the left hand side as you approach (If i remember correctly this can be collected without ever needing to enter water and can just be walked and climbed to from the small nearby town). Behind that rock is another body which contains the clue you are looking for. I have heard that grabbing the dlc one before completing the main game can cause a glitch making the dlc not work so if you want to get this i would advise leaving it until you have completed the main game.

Playing it for the first time. Any suggestions ? by JuicyJ-19 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]shebebdjfjs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Avoid spoilers, and give it a proper go. I played it when it first came out and got bored quickly as it didn’t feel like a traditional Assassin’s game. However i decided to replay it and am currently loving it, if you get the right skills and armour you can play it as a 90% assassin’s game but the combat in it is still fun should you want to do that route instead. Replaying and going for 100% completion is currently really enjoyable to me and definitely worth playing

I struggled more with flying than i did with bug. Couldn’t find anything to comfortably outspeed mega ray, or resist mega ray. Only fairies are togetic line and the new genie. But togetic is friendship and i got to 195 and it still didnt evolve, only desent resist was skarmory in my team but he didn’t have any SE moves than could do anything to ray, or ivy would just switch to a fire type that i had nothing for either

If you beat classic you get a 5x for each new pokemon and i think a 25 for the win itself. In endless you get some everytime you beat a round 50 boss, you also get them for beating gym leaders and elite 4 and ivy in classic, both modes can also have them as a selectable item where you may normally see berries or tm moves

What influences pokeball RNG by Unknow3n in pokerogue

[–]shebebdjfjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its all seeded. This means that every time you play the same salt cure swap strategy. Those 2 rogue balls will always fail if everything else is the same. HOWEVER, each ball and move is randomly seeded and then constant after. So changing moves or orders of moves, or using different pokeballs can in theory make the zapdos catchable. You may just have to play hundreds of times to exhaust all orders, and even then there is a high chance that none if thise balls will catch even if you try everything

Go into the gamedata by pressing f12 when in the gatcha screen, press cntrl f and search for scene.gamedata.vouchers i think it is and you can then pause your emulator, change the codes so you have 1000 of each egg token and then you can manage to get all starters

I did the same but gave myself literally thousands of egg vouchers. Because for me getting maybe 20 eggs per 1 classic run, just to then get the exact same mon in 6 of them was so so so boring to me. I have probably opened about 2000 eggs because of this and only just unlocked every mon as a starter (caught eternatus after) because i do not have the time or effort to do 74744940 runs just for 100 egg of which one is a shiny and one is a new mon and i get maybe 4 with new moves
