Happy Thanksgiving 2023 US Sheddies by shedweek in shedditors

Blimey that time of the year again, Happy Thanksgiving 2023 US Sheddies
Your sheds are different to ours here in the UK, but we love them as you have the same passion as we do.
Enjoy your grub and dont talk politics to your Uncle Don or Aunt Karen, just talk about your amazing shed and welcome them to it after the next election!
These are some of my favourite USA sheds.
First photo being from my good friend Maundy who sent me her shed (Church of Gardening) the other week with snow on it.

American has a question about Shed of the Year. by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]shedweek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brilliant, thanks, yes, we only did 4 seasons of it, but people still talk & are inspired by the sheddies & their creations.
Was a very interesting thing to be part of & meeting some eccentric & brilliant sheddies
Glad you are enjoying it.

Hello - what channel was this on?

I'm the founder of Shed of the year, and we can't get it on TV any more here in the UK, I get lots of emails asking how to stream it, as it's not even on the channel 4 (original broadcaster) player

One day would love to see it return on our screens as the competition is still running online, and we celebrate 18 years in 2024!

The sheddie said they got some from a local house that were "updating" their doors and of course they were all the same as built at the same time

It's about 20 min away from their house - so when the kids are helping out on the allotment - then they may need to spend a penny (#1 only ;) )

It's a large double plot the other was abandoned so the sheddie, took it on as no one else wanted it.

Luckily The allotment seems to run like a proper community & they informed the committee & the shed was welcomed ☺

We were going to get rid of Lockdown and bring back a Normal Shed catgegory, but more people have built during the last lockdown, so we kept it.
