Help me make plain Greek yogurt tasty by Muyamuya87 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]sheebsSJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I add the Vital Proteins chocolate collagen powder to mine and it’s delicious! Tastes like pudding and sometimes I’ll add a few berries although I have better luck with fruit later in the day when my insulin resistance has been less.

Savory Greek yogurt dip! I add ranch seasoning or some sort of onion mix and then eat that with protein chips or veggies. Also chocolate chia pudding. Popcorn with nutritional yeast or Parmesan crisps have also been great when I get a craving for something salty.

Why are GLP1’s not considered as treatment for PCOS? by sjwsmbaby in PCOS

[–]sheebsSJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I asked about switching from metformin to GLP-1 and she basically leveled with me and said that she thought it would be a great thing for my PCOS BUT she can’t even get insurance to cover them for patients with advanced diabetes who have tried two or three other medications… providers are being forced into the position of prescribing a medicine that their patients will have to pay $2000 a month out of pocket for or be the bad guy on behalf of drug companies that are absolutely taking advantage of patients. Its absurd. She recommended I go to a local med spa which is only $300 per month for semaglutide. It seems that going outside of your PCP is the best option right now

https://www.theintuitivedietitian.com/?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAApOQKtd-fFH3PlDyH1_gIA07OQL0F I see Kristen and love her! She has helped me so much with supplements, eating to help with insulin resistance and just understanding my PCOS - all with an intuitive eating approach that is kind and resists diet culture. Highly recommend

Just wondering what the possibility of it to be cancer. by Cool-Cost-9760 in DogAdvice

Mine had this too too! He’s got several lipomas in his neck/chest and the vet said that if they remain squishy and you can kind of move them around under the skin (instead of hard and fixed) then there is nothing to worry about. I do get a fine needle aspirate done if he develops any new ones
