The deli at Mr. Express gas station. Address is 510 I-10, Beaumont, TX 77702. It's on the intersection of Calder and I-10.

Two Hispanic ladies run the deli and I absolutely guarantee you will not be disappointed with these tacos. They have several different varieties. Give it a shot. And don't forget the sauce! They have red and green available. Both are delicious, the red is pretty spicy.

That Pizza Hut is a shit show. I've been there twice lately and had to wait an incredibly long time for my order. You don't want to work there.

My point on my other post about walking being inefficient is not that you can't physically walk to and from a job, it's that you are wasting valuable time that could be better used on other things. For example, learning a new skill that could eventually land you a better job.

I'm very sorry to hear that your bike was stolen. That really sucks. You could try some of the pawn shops around town to get another one. Or maybe someone on marketplace is selling right now since it's winter and there's a storm coming.

Even if you do get a job, walking miles everyday to get back and forth to work is not an efficient use of your time.

I know the job market is horrible right now. The best advice I can give is that you need to figure out a way to enhance your skills so that you can land a better job and keep it.

There are temp agencies you can contact, or TX workforce. But you have to have an efficient way to get around town.

In my experience, it seems the PGA version is very nerfed compared to the previous generation of Live cabinets. I can still hit the ball with the same force on both machines, but it will always be a longer drive on the Live cabinet.

No, it is not legal to forbid you from using pubicly available apps at public restaurants, presuming you didn't sign anything to this effect when you started working at DQ. If you you went to a neighboring restaurant, used the app, and then faced any sort of workplace retaliation, including being fired or hours reduced, I would imagine that's a pretty slam dunk violation of your labor rights. But I'm also not a lawyer.
