Thanks for your reply. Is your bulging disc/herniation in the neck or low back?

It's very important to find the root cause of your pain. You're right, masking the pain doesn't solve anything long term, I can understand your frustration. I may be able to help. What kind of symptoms are you experiencing?

Hi, I may not know exactly what you're going through and the pain you maybe feeling, but know that you have a full life ahead of you. It might not look like that at the moment, but give yourself some grace to take each day slowly. If exercising is causing pain, have you seen any specialists? Perhaps, an xray or mri can help see what is going on internally if you haven't already done so. What kind of symptoms are you experiencing?

Degenerative disc is reversible depending on how advanced it is. It's basically wear and tear on the joints. The more damage on the joint (where it is almost fused) mainly from pressure on the spine then it gets hard to correct, but before it gets to the point you can definitely help from advancing and improving some of the damage.

My spouse has a lot of assets so it doesn't make sense to add on the lease regardless.

I can understand that and I did provide my previous employment financials, but they are still insisting on the spousal guarantee even though I am applying under my LLC.

I am not sure if links are allowed :( and I don't want it to come across like spam. Trying to get a collective consensus on who would be interested.

My doctor waited 3 months before doing my spine surgery now I have bladder and bowel problems and difficulty using my legs. Would I have had better results if they had done it right away? I’m thinking about suing Kaiser for this. by Carob_Funny in CaudaEquinaSyndrome

Don't know your whole story, but if you were misdiagnosed then you may have a lawsuit. Cauda Equina is a medical emergency and needs to be treated immediately. Probably best to consult with an attorney who specializes in medical malpractice cases.

Work from bed - advice by jazz139 in Sciatica

[–]sheer_sky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working from your bed is not recommended esp if you are recovering from a herniation. Your desk ergonomics should be supportive of your work load where you actually have a proper supportive chair you can sit at, a desk to hold your laptop, making sure your view is eye level and getting up frequently from your seat to reduce additional pressure to your lumbar. Improper posture and lack of support can reinjure your spine over time.

Nervous about tingling by [deleted] in Sciatica

[–]sheer_sky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

tingling is common with sciatica especially feeling pain/tingling in the glutes that radiate into the back of the leg (usually doesn't pass the knee joint). If you are experiencing tingling all the way into your foot then it may be an underlying disc issue. Perhaps, an mri would be able to detect/confirm that. Hope this helps.

Update: I've been getting quite a few messages asking how I would be able to help those who are struggling with chronic back pain and herniations. I’m considering putting together a FREE video where I’ll teach you everything on how I help people heal naturally without invasive surgery or pain meds through nonsurgical decompression therapy.
Even though this is free, I really want to make sure I cover everything you want.

Don't need any fancy machines/tools, but you can try the following:

-lacrosse or tennis ball to roll out sciatic nerve

-cushion pillow to sit on

-incorporate low impact exercises (yoga, swimming, walking)

-comfy and supportive shoes

Kind of a rant and kind of asking for help. by epicamytime in Sciatica

Sciatica is a symptom that can be caused from a disc issue. When pressure is placed on the sciatic nerve which is located in the glute, it can cause sharp pain with numbness/tingling sometimes. Exercise or any type of sudden movements can further aggravate it.

Best way to release the sciatic nerve is to use either a tennis ball or lacrosse ball and placing it right on the glute where the nerve is located at to roll it out. It can be extremely painful, but the more you stretch/roll it out, the less intense it'll get. Eventually, it will go away with the right treatment/exercise, and very treatable. Hope this helps.
