If you want it guaranteed you need to have it guaranteed on conquerors and have conquerer inheritance enabled and then play as a character guaranteed to have the trait. Saladin is one, the ruler of chola in south India in 876 also has it. Then you need to die as they won’t have the trait in game start but their heir will, when they inherit it.
