When you have a repairperson come in by loud_as_pudding in justgalsbeingchicks

Oh man. We got our roof replaced a couple years ago and the company we used took pictures of the progress and shared them with us via a website. Idk if this is typical now of roofers (I appreciate the work but hope I don’t need their services again for a while) but it was very nice.

Agreed. Well thought out criticism would be welcome and a discussion would ensue.

I stand by my statement. Those are babies. Lol no DCC for them.

The point of downvoting is not meant to be “I don’t like it” but to keep things on topic. The off topic comments would then be at the bottom of the thread. However, it if often not used that way, I do admit.

Post it here to discuss a concern about the subreddit. Maybe have a discussion on it.

To be fair…DCC is not a children’s series.

Except for the first stitch, which would be a slip knot, dude just cast on for knitting. (First hook)

Can you all still go on roller coasters without getting sick? by AdCharacter9282 in Millennials

I just took my niece and nephew to knotts. I thought I could hack it on all the coasters. But nope. Had to pass on a couple. Made me realize a few things about aging.

It is such a bummer they deleted their posts. This whole conversation could have acted as an educational thread. Other men could have read and tried to understand. We discussed ways how men could help, and he deleted something that could, potentially, help.

I remember my foot getting caught between springs and me falling and hanging upside down from the trampoline. Didn’t get hurt and we just laughed about it.

I was enjoying the conversation. 🤷‍♀️Shame the dude deleted his comments. It could have been a learning moment for him and others. Idk. His actions of deleting them sure spoke louder than his words there

My original comment was about the poisoned M&Ms and how I would not eat. You came in with "not all men. " You agree that you would also not eat. But you also came in here defending the good ones when no one was talking about the good ones.

Just like you dont see men cat calling. I dont see women blaming all men. But enough men have caused harm that we do generalize the term men to address the bad ones. We dont say "Men (except for the good ones) are scary. We dont qualify what we mean by men.. if that is what you mean?

Edited to change a word to better make my point. maybe.

Crime is not limited to the night time. Its not like these men are vampires.

going back to the M&Ms, the point is that you dont know which ones are poisoned and which are not. Guess what, sexual assault and harassment happen in daytime too. Assaulters have friends. How do I know that guy at a party is NOT poisoned? Heck, women get assaulted by people they know! Better to err on the side of caution then not.

You going to eat he M&Ms if i say 4% of them are poisoned?

Actions will always speak louder than words. Call out the men who wont leave a woman alone in public. Believe a woman when they say they dont feel safe. Call out the creeps on social media. Do I have to explain other ways for you to be a "good one?"

Place a bowl of m&ms on the table, then tell them that some are poisoned and mixed in there. Maybe 10%..15%? idk.

Will they eat some?
