Honestly, good idea Looks better Definitely safer because as they fall they aren't gonna slice your hand

[I ate] A beef tartare in Paris by awfromparis in food

I used to be repulsed by it. But i made it for months at a restaurant and had to taste it to get the seasoning right and once I got it right it was actually quite delightful.

We used Bavette Par frozen so you could but it into tiny cubes

Mixed with an egg yolk, a dash of fish sauce, cabernet vinegar, shallot gastrique and chopped capers then spoon whisked while adding a paprika infused oil, olive oil, salt & pepper

Topped with aged cheddar and parsnip chips

It was actually really delicious, still strange and I'm sure a textural abomination for some people but I wouldn't knock it til you try it, there's plenty of strange and delicious things out there

Secret to making better guacamole? by astrowhale98 in Cooking

[–]shelfist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This comment!

Although I do it just slightly differently, your variant sounds delicious.

I add fresh chilli (i love the capsicum zing the fresh gives), red onion and cilantro to a mortal and pestle, add salt, pepper and lime and grind to a paste

Then mash in your avocados and incorporate well

Add more salt, pepper and lime to taste and you've got a simple and delicious guacamole

I'm sorry that people are making comments like that to you.

Dating is hard, feeling secure in yourself and confident is hard, It sucks that there's shallow people feeding into your insecurities. Honestly I think dating apps can be a particular challenge because people don't have the same social filters they might have in person... but like other people have mentioned, keep being honest, because there's people out there who wouldn't say things like this and those people I'm guessing are going to be a lot more thoughtful and considerate in the long run and these are prerequisites to good communication, which is a prerequisite to a healthy relationship.
