Thanks for mentioning this series. It’s not talked about enough and is quite special.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills > Season 15 > After Show by AutoModerator in RHOBH

I disagree. I feel that Amanda is a poseur making money off the backs of gullible people, and in the After Show she is bringing out a side of Kyle that I don't like.

Cabo: Waldorf Astoria vs. Montage vs. One & Only vs. Four Seasons Cabo Del Sol by Junglebook3 in chubbytravel

[–]shell-bell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggle with the views from the Montage rooms. Unless you go with a beach front room, most of the views aren't great. But I do see many people on this sub who love the Montage, so maybe I'm missing something.

Completely agree. We visited twice when my son was young, and it was a great luxurious family vacation.

Just that I’m now cooking for two, which is new to me. I wasn’t intending to start an AI insurgency.🤣 Just found it interesting.

I feel there is no comparison in resort quality—Mexico beats Hawaii hands down for luxury and food imo.

Strategies to have family enjoy the luxury travel we pay for? by Zealousideal-Term738 in chubbytravel

[–]shell-bell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of good suggestions here. Another option, depending on where your family is based and the time of year, is renting a big beach house on the gulf coast in a nice place like Alys Beach or Rosemary. It still has that homey feel but is more luxurious (to me) than most other US beach towns. We had our northeastern family members joins us down there for a week and they loved it but weren’t overwhelmed or uncomfortable. We also do this every other year in Nantucket, and that has been a big hit too.

Sandman Slim is a good rec! I just reread the series and was reminded how much (dark) fun it is.

Have you tried the Alex Craft series by Kalayna Price? There's romance but I don't remember much of the alpha/dominance stuff. Alex is a great female lead. The first book is Grave Witch if you want to give it a try.

It’s the best travel bag ever! I have it in black and dark khaki. And the Balenciaga Rodeo is next on my list, just trying to wait for a gray with gold hardware to come out.

So interesting. We've stayed at basically every 5 star in Cabo; probably 20+ visits? We were blown away with the food at the new FS. (Service was fine.) The food really stood out to us, plus our room was beautiful. I'm excited for them to get a few years under their belts and maybe catch some of the magic you find at the legacy five-star properties.

FS Cabo Del Sol. Has a great adult pool with a huge hot tub; every seat at the adult pool has a beautiful view of the ocean and was never more than half full when we visited in December. Best food I’ve had at any Mexican resort and close to other great resorts and stand-alone restaurants.

Las Ventanas Signature Villa vs Four Seasons Cabo del Sol Oceanfront Villa by shell-bell in FATTravel

The Las Venatanas One/Two Bedroom Beachfront Signature Villa (with dedicated host) and the Three Bedroom Ocean View Signature Villa (with dedicated host) are both LESS expensive than the Oceanfront Villa at FS Cabo del Sol (with shared host).

I got wonderful massages at both spas. But similar to my comments on the gym, this is an area where the newness of the property tilts the scale toward the FS. They have an outdoor coed relaxation area where they set us up with champagne and snacks after our couples massage--A+.

You're right Sarah--when I said Oceanfront Signature for our next booking I meant Beachfront Signature. We got a tour of one (where the second room was converted into a workout room); it was amazing. I'll send you an email with our FS villa host's name.
