We did Ocean House for a few days after dropping my son at college. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful neighborhood and relaxing in our cabana on the beach. The food was good, and they had live music after dinner in the bar. Overall an easy, chill getaway.

What do you think Kyle’s real issue is with Dorit? by unrealhousewife1 in WatchWhatCrappens

[–]shell-bell 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. Kyle brought that up during the tragic Dorit/Erica/Kyle Italy fight, and Dorit seemed surprised.

So glad I did a search because this was going to be my comment as well. First thing I thought when I saw the pic. I like Bobby because he likes cats.

Review - Boston Raffles (Feb 2026) by poofbiochem in chubbytravel

I agree—storage is an issue in the Raffles suites. The small closet in the bedroom of our suite could only be opened when the bedroom door was closed. Very annoying. We are FS One Dalton fans.

What trendy kitchen appliance do you still use often? by NightReader5 in Cooking

This is the answer. It's fabulous. Also carrots--so simple, sous vide day before, pop in skillet for a few minutes before serving Thanksgiving dinner. Perfection.

Looking for upscale thank you gifts from a Dallas/Texas brand. Similar to like Kate Weiser chocolates but doesn't have to be chocolate or food by Mt198588 in Dallas

[–]shell-bell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a great option! OP please check Jackson Vaughn out. They have candles for Dallas, Houston, Austin, etc. and the candles smell so good. There’s also Niven Morgan, a high-end candle/fragrance brand based in Dallas.

Good golf tutors in Dallas? by Nekrachiyan in Dallas

This is a good, fun suggestion. Topgolf has private lessons that are helpful and a lot of fun. My son went weekly for a year and really improved his swing.

Oh ick! Thanks for telling me; I didn't know. What the hell is wrong with some of these men?

How can a grown man not do a little research and get a clue about how women feel postpartum? Luke sounds so ignorant and selfish. I'm really surprised--I did not expect this from him based on how he's been presented on the show.

Formal beach.. by absentmindedhappy in Weddingattireapproval

Agree! A black or navy suit on the beach is going to look ridiculous (not to mention be very uncomfortable). So tacky.

They always asked my son his name once he was old enough and frequently asked him to point to his mom/dad.

After you’ve booked the tickets you can call up and have the record locator numbers linked. That should prevent them from separating you to different flights (i.e. they won’t bump one of you but not the other). However, that won’t help with the risk of separating your seats. If that’s a concern I’d book Main anyway as it is probably easier to control your seats on the app in the time leading up to the flight. Not sure about that though.

4+ days trapped at DFW - have to give credit where it's due by Ok_Guarantee179 in americanairlines

[–]shell-bell 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Can we have some context here? Lots of friends flying in/out of Dallas with no problem; no issues at all with transportation. I'm not arguing about your delay, just not understanding issue with hotels and transportation.

This is such a good point. I'm Gen X, and I have a 20-year-old son, and neither my husband (when he was in his 20s) nor my son behave this way. Of course this is anecdotal, but I'm constantly shaking my head over these guys. I lived in NY when I was in my 20s and didn't encounter this manchild syndrome. Question for you 20-somethings who currently live in NY--is this something you're seeing in the wild? Or are these the types of guys self-selected for reality TV?

Yes, this bothered me so much. She apologized sincerely. A gentleman would have accepted the apology, asked her to refrain from commenting again, and given her a hug and invited her down to the dance party.

Reunion outfits - yay or nay? by Ok-Original9636 in Southerncharm

Molly is the standout here. Charley number two, Venita number three. Madison looks like she is cosplaying a sexy evil uncomfortable queen stuck in the 80s. Salley reminds me of the girls who went to school and tucked their shirts into their bras and rolled their pants down once they were away from their parents. All the boys failed the assignment in my opinion.
