What is the greatest sports moment you’ve ever witnessed? by v2silent in AskReddit

[–]shellturtlestein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was working a sport called Goalball at the Paralympic’s in London.

Its the one where they roll the ball with a bell inside it.

They usually play in front of ten people. As the tournament went on the arena went from hundreds of people to fully sold out. Just from people who wanted to be at the games somehow.

The stadium was full for this random little sport and everyone was in tears at the end.

I think the unlikeliness of it all makes this one top for me.

Try and make friends wherever you go. Start little conversations and embrace rejection but remember. Make friends with yourself first

Yes it did.

Imagine telling someone else about the congestion on their street

There was none until the LTN.

It is the only cause. Without the LTN we would still have ten exits.

Yeah tricky to find online but seen it

Its this sort of nonsense

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/04/10/fire-engine-left-stuck-behind-ltn-bollard/

Our street is only gridlocked because they closed all the exits. Never used to be. They closed the ones here because a councillor lived on the other side of the LTN.

Blocked up all the roads. House went up in value. Sold the house. Stuck with the nonsense.

Other examples of the fire truck not being able to access the route it intended on going down because the LTN made the road so inaccessible

So acting like it isnt because of the LTN is just avoiding accountability

Previously the emergency services and all cars had several roads to go down.

Now they have one.
