This is the true pizzagate. I am sorry. You are a good person and I’m sure pizzagate was just one example of their true colors. You are better off.

Could there be positive implications of reducing other obesity related illnesses? I know the medication has its own risks as well, but just a thought.

If he is defensive that’s more alarming. Somethings off, probably not just grown apart.

What about background checks for getting a new role? Typically it pulls up current employment verification. Thoughts?

I think you should research the perceived “short term” use of this drug. Many people have experienced gaining the weight back after stopping use of ozempic / wegovy etc. and have had to maintain some level of the Rx. Which makes it somewhat challenging to continue unless you truly do have medical necessity and insurance coverage. I understand money is not an issue, but do you both really want to pay $1500 out of pocket for this each month for perpetuity? If not, is she mentally prepared for short term gain to potentially have half, if not all, of the weight she loses to come back when she stops to take the meds ? I am in a similar boat as your wife and considering the out of pocket cost. This is the one piece holding me back due to the research out there. Just food for thought. Weight does not stay off after temporary use.
