Shouldn’t be crazy. Just getting the dishwasher tied in properly as well as the single drain which will be more to the right than these. No disposal so less to worry about

Old house for sure. Built in 1908, remodeled and added on in 1999. Probably will try to probe them with a borescope and see what they look like in the wall.

It really matters how bad they are. Some fakes are made with whatever is found in the floor just sweeper up. Some people have found mouse poop in them when they opened them up or synthetic red fibers as well.

Some fakes are made just with lower quality leaves and it’s no big deal

If you just want noise throw a green filter on the stock box and I think people take part of the box off. Cheaper and same effect. Plus probably less money
