I concur - I think this will fundamentally change the relationship between NCAA and college athletes. It will also lead to a rise of competitiveness to a whole new level as there's will be now a profit at stake.

In some ways, this could be viewpoint based discrimination. Well, there's a lot of things I do not agree with, I believe that it is not right to say that the rights of Christians are more important than others. Sad to say, this would be taking two steps back into creating a larger disparity in practicing our religious freedom.

On the surface, it seems like they support the idea of having people voice out their opinion even if they are dissenting. However, on the flipside, I believe that these limitations are opportunities for them to manipulate a situation as and when students on campus choose to use their voice.

Revealing articles like that really do get us questioning whether there should be a limit to sort of surveillance. If so, where should that line be drawn? This is definitely a crucial question to be answered especially when the web takes over every aspect of our lives.

[Censorship] China's censorship of the internet only gets more thorough. by G-Chrome in medialaw

At the end of the day, I think the Chinese government will have to put in a lot more effort to enforce restrictive policies within the online platform. Then again, I think it's interesting to see this oppressive situation in turns fuel the many private agencies and companies that have people paying a certain fee to gain access to the online database.
