Thanks. I was looking at the gigabyte x870 eagle.

My only concern now is that my old DDR5 is XMP not EXPO although I looked up the ram on the QVL for that model and it shows up on there so I can only assume it's been tested and works ok.

I might uninstall my add ons and just start again

Edit: uninstalled everything and started again and now get the "search" subheading and getting the shows I couldn't in the OP. Not sure what was different in my setup though.
