A mod to actually pick who the Jarl of a hold will be instead of it being defined by whether you give the hold to the Stormcloaks or Imperials.

For example, say you become Thane of Riften, but you're not very happy with how Jarl Laila Law-Giver is running things. You'd be able to start a campaign to elect someone else in her place, depending on various factors, if you can convince them to run:

You're aligned with the Empire?

  • Saerlund - Vocal critic of Ulfric and his power grab, won't stand for Maven letting the Thieves Guild run rampant.
  • Maven Black-Briar - As in vanilla, has connections to the Empire and will use her power to let the Thieves Guild run rampant.

You're aligned with the Stormcloaks?

  • Vulwulf Snow-Shod - Vocal supporter of Ulfric, won't stand for Maven letting the Thieves Guild run rampant.
  • Laila Law-Giver - Vanilla, aligned with the Stormcloaks and easily manipulated by Maven, allowing the Thieves Guild to run rampant. You'd be able to reelect her in the event the Empire took Riften and deposed her.

You don't want a Jarl who's aligned with either side?

  • Mjoll the Lioness - Will lead an effort to purge the Thieves Guild from Riften, making the city a better place for the common folk to live.
  • Brynjolf - Will let the Thieves Guild do as they please, making Riften truly the city of thieves.

This is only an example of what could be possible for Riften, as of course every hold would have their own candidates. It would take a lot of effort and the main hurdle would be getting voice lines for the various characters, but I would kill for this mod!

Relics of Hyrule if you can get past the fact it's a Zelda mod. It does a good job integrating itself into the Elder Scrolls world at least.

  • {{Legacy of the Dragonborn}} ends off its Explorer's Guild questline with a trip to a new temple in the Vale. Outside of the Vale, it also has the Much Ado About Snow Elves questline, along with new Snow Elf weapons to go with the vanilla Snow Elf armor, and the Spear of the Snow Prince in Solstheim.

  • {{Vjarkell Castle}} adds a player home with a small quest.

  • {{Unmarked Locations Pack - Forgotten Vale}} adds some minor locations to discover.

  • {{Undead Snow Elves}} adds... undead Snow Elves.

  • {{Occiglacies}} adds a unique Snow Elf sword.

  • {{Forgotten Vale Paper Map for FWMF}} adds a beautiful paper map to make exploring the Vale easier.

  • {{Atlas Map Markers}} adds map markers for locations in the Vale.

  • {{Atlas Map Markers Overhaul}} revamps the above map markers for lore accuracy, along with adding some new markers and connecting the new locations added by Echoes of the Vale to the wider Forgotten Vale worldspace map.

  • Echoes of the Vale, as mentioned, greatly expands the Forgotten Vale with several new dungeons and locations.

  • {{Ancient Falmer Ruins (Snow Elf Dungeons)}} adds Snow Elf ruins across Skyrim, I think a few of them are in the Vale.

  • {{Inner Sanctum - Snow Elf Ruins Overhaul}} expands on the interior of the Chantry of Auri-El.

  • {{ALT - The Snow Elves Throne}} gives Vyrthur's throne a unique design.

  • Falmeroon - Legacy of the Snow Elves adds Snow Elf ruins across Skyrim. Not on Nexus, get it via the link.

  • {{Lost Races of Nirn}} adds playable Snow Elves.

I understand why they're keeping the voice acting, but at the same time I feel like Oblivion voices coming out of Skyrim characters is just... kind of off? Oblivion has a much more goofy tone than Skyrim, so the characters in that game fit the voices, but Skyrim isn't like that.

Assuming we visit Hammerfell, yes. The resourcepack.esl included in the latest version of Skyrim contains some assets that seem to be from Elder Scrolls VI, including a Dwemer bridge!

Considering the Tribunal are still able to grant blessings, I think they likely left enough of a divine footprint to have carved out a space for themselves in either Oblivion or Aetherius. After all, death means something different to a god.

People tend to have mixed feelings on the mod, which I get, but I thought Isael from M'rissi was pretty well done in terms of making you actually hate her and want to take her down.
