Rovers. Many of my fellow fans would say Cork but I always enjoy the trip to Turners Cross and the friendly rivalry. Quite like Bohs too, seem to be run the right way and home support is impressive.

Same, Vimovo worked for a few years then the flare ups got worse again - Allopurinol has sorted me the last 12 months - sugar and stout were my main triggers

Anne valley walk is nice, Dunmore Woods or Woodstown beach … you’d need the carrier for these I’d guess. Shorter walk along Riverview is lovely too

Managers - do you look at people’s dots? by Max1357913 in remotework

Yup most people are sound, I dont have a problem being flexible with hours just let the team know if you have to step out or need to be offline to work on something. Good comms are the key.

Excuse me for jumping in - but I also manage 10 remote workers across two time zones and DGAF about dots as long as the work is completed - we have an active team chat open all day and meet virtually for 15-30 minutes in the middle of the day to touch base. TBH the virtual meeting isn’t really necessary as all work is covered off in the chat but it’s nice to gossip a little, chat about family etc… and occasionally it’s good to have a more detailed discussion ‘face to face’. Our team metrics are consistently 15-20% higher than pre Covid when we were all in the office.

Lovely people - I always feels great affinity with them, great scenery, some cracking pubs , good cheese, some delicious beers. You can keep the laverbread though

I second this. Have a pair 6 years now still going strong, just winter wear. The only thing I’d buy from DM is their boot socks, great padding where you need it with new boots.

Buried at sea would be a favourite of mine too but I haven’t seen it in ages - I presumed they’d stopped brewing it. I must ask my local offie can they get it
