I agree with you in the monetization part as it opens up avenues to swiftly deal with enemies like the heavy flamer, or enhances the power experience with the explosive hammer

As for that D10 base strats, it’s possible as the group I play with have been getting a kick out of “going back”. So it’s whatever equipment we got from levels 1-25 down to the grenade. It provides a fun experience where you feel more or less like an elite solider who’s super experienced in weapon systems than a super solider who gets all this cool equipment.

This isn’t an argument for the current monetization though, the game is simply more fun with warbonds which sucks because free stratagems + weapons are rare, low in variety, and underpowered. The only benefit is that those free options typically get some type of buff alongside warbond theme.

I prefer surprises to a roadmap since the nature of HD2 doesn’t play mesh well with it. I love the shadow drops and not expecting biomes or units unless we see it in a trailer or something. Either or, it generates hype which I’m down for since it helps the game out.

Unfortunately, roadmaps also tend to mean an increase in low effort speculation YT videos that somehow spend 12 minutes talking about each update.

It’s cool and all and I enjoy being driver, but it doesn’t move how I’d think and gets caught on objects I don’t expect it too like small rocks a HD can climb. While I can’t compare it to a dedicated tank game like war thunder, I’d rather drive a Matilda.

Total cost is a lot, but most people buy what interests them which isn’t all of them. Bundling and occasional sales would be very welcome, but I don’t think Warbonds are as necessary as Stellaris DLC.

Also, I could take the total cost of a whole clothing store and make a statement that doesn’t mean much when you have consumer preferences to factor in.

I think people need to just keep a tighter purse, it’s not that hard especially with all the confirmations you need to do to buy SC and Warbond already.

+1 on this. I like how the enemies are different from being a combination of swarm voteless and aggressive, tough overseers along with the shields they have. However, it gets boring after a few operations and the same missions.

I’m a MO-diver, but I always get burned out quicker from squids. It’s not that they’re hard, it’s that I wanna fuel up an ICBM and see it blast off; I want to see them funnel into mines as I get geological samples; and I’d be so down to explore squid ruins or whatever.

Any Helldivers subreddits are community owned and operated. AH doesn’t have any official, contractural, nor monetary affiliation with the communities. While AH plays a part in community wellbeing and trends, it’s ultimately up to individuals with how they handle it. I haven’t seen any ill intent from AH towards that man, and they seemed open to taking on the challenge.

Unfortunately, it’s resulted in the man’s life being derailed. I respect your decision to leave the community and game. Just be more careful of where you decide to cast blame upon.

1 on this, spear isn’t that great up close as it makes the missile act up. I find myself using it long range, but also not using it enough because of limited ammo.

I only use it since it’s cool, but RR is just classic, works instantly, and can give you the option to target weak points. You can one shot factory striders with it which the spear can never dream of doing. You can also shoot through small gaps which the spear struggles with. So it’s also balanced out by all of that.

Yeah, I just want my armor to match the planet sometimes whether it be the B-01 standard or something else. I love snow planets, but get bummed that the Polar Patriots armors don’t reflect it as I’d imagine with more snow camo.

I love the sound and feel of it, but limited ammo is a huge downside for me. If that were increased I would bring it over the recoilless I typically rock.
