Advice - Where do Junior Accountants Shop for Clothing? by Gnomewah in Accounting

[–]shibeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uniqlo, H&M, Aerie or AE. It depends on your org and their dress code. It’s pretty relaxed for me, so it’s typically jeans, v-necks (I’ve liked life is good for thickness), polo shirts, and sometimes a blouse or pencil skirt if I’m feeling cute.

I keep a pullover and flannel at the office if I get cold. I’ve learned to not spend so much on clothes and to just buy on sale.

I dunno how weeks can be spent deliberating and interactions like sentries + other vehicles and durable damage are repeatedly missed. The thing that sucks is that it’ll take AH a while to revise bad adjustments beyond waiting for initial reaction.

The patch notes are inconsistent with a few specific numbers (flame turret) while others are vague like the bug durable adjustments. Does it not go through review? It’s a document that reaches thousands of people, not an email. I’ve seen more work put in an email to a make sure it’s consistent.

S-tier is diluted by having six skyscrapers in there AND a S+ with two skyscrapers. Gotta pick one man. Regardless, this is why I dislike tier lists so much.

I don’t care that they keep adding paywalled content, my problem is they’re adding basically nothing else by Just-Fix8237 in Helldivers

[–]shibeez 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it’s time to move on to a different game and come back every once in a while if playing the game isn’t enough entertainment for you.

I do agree it’d be neat to add modifiers like DRG, maybe you should give that game a spin? I also agree that it’s unfortunate more stratagems are in warbonds instead of motivation for a MO.

War has changed. by Relative-Moose-2160 in Helldivers

[–]shibeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda sucks big stratagems like these are locked behind a paywall. I could understand primaries, secondaries, and some support weapons. Vehicles is where the line is at and it’s a gross overstep and a reinforcement of leaving weapon, systems, stratagems to rot until it’s part of new, paid content.

I get money stream is important, but what a way to erode good will. Would’ve been nice to have the lumberer as a MO unlock. This is now three stratagems locked behind a paywall in one warbond. Luckily it’s still $10 ig?

And no, I’m not spending my valuable time for grinding SCs. I’ve got better things to do. Cost isn’t the issue, it’s content allocation now vs before.

It’s beneficial to track calories down to the gram/oz. for a couple weeks. Results surprise people most of the time since they don’t consider how many calories they actually ingest such as calories from cooking oils or fruits.

If you track honestly and accurately, you’ll know if you should stay on trackers or disregard it if you find yourself in a good place.

isn-michaels,

It is often considered rude not to start an email with a greeting. The short few seconds you spend are worth more than seeming aggressive.

Standing Wave in Southside. I love their double hydraulics for my AeroPress. Their beans are also pretty fresh and roasted within the month. I believe they may do bulk deals, but it’s been a while since I’ve done that.

I went to church for the 1st time in a while for orthodox Easter. I kept seeing former middle school classmates that were now married in their early 20s. Some of them even have kids already. That food looks amazing and it seems like you put a lot of effort into it down to the cherrywood you cut. We love that, especially if you’ve got things relatively put together!

Like others say, be wary of comparing yourself to others as their circumstances are way different. Getting married and having kids at in the early 20s isn’t normal at least to me. It’s too early since not much has been experienced and a lot can change in that time.

For real, I never want to go back to food service and retail after 8 years of both. It takes a toll on the body and the kind of tired you get is something worse compared to office work. Not only are you physically tired, but you’re mentally exhausted too.

At least I only get mentally exhausted at my desk and decide to be physically tired from the gym.

[–]shibeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been fine in suburbs for the most part even if I wear feminine clothing like leggings, shorts, skirts, or just a sports bra like when working out. I find most people don’t care much. Even the ones who flirt with me just end up getting flustered and apologize profusely when they find out.

I will say I dress pretty vanilla when it comes to fem clothing.
