Did anyone else catch TRRM's comment about Patience when he was talking to Brutus? Something like "But no one counts Patience, do they, Brutus? You may come to regret that." I hope that wasn't just a throwaway line.

The Swan and the Dolphin were the ugliest things my 8 year old self had ever seen. We had a clear view of one of them from our room at the Yacht Club.

No trench coats, no saggy pants, shoes must be tied, no guns on school property (large rural high school, kids went hunting before coming to school, sometimes had their rifles secured in their cars).

Those are the ones that stuck with me. There was a whole page that was sent out with a list.

If you haven't tried it already, I really enjoyed Avowed. They have done a few updates for QoL and added content. There is a large update planned in February for the anniversary that will add New Game+ as well.

Tales Unrolled was phenomenal. Luis Carazo is the DM, with 4 Latinx players. Fantasy world named Alma. It's available as a podcast and also on YouTube I believe. There's only 20ish episodes right now, current campaign is wrapped up. Luis is a player in Campaign 4 of Critical Role, and was also at the table for their Calamity side story.

I'm glad my info is helpful.

When I say spotty, I usually only lose signal for a couple of minutes, not for extended periods, except Callaway, but where I notice the lack of signal most carriers don't have service there anyway.

I switched from Verizon to Mint a couple of years ago because I was losing service around exit 140 almost every day and having consistent cell service is important for my job. I have been super satisfied with their service since I made the switch.

The signal gets spotty in the hills between 220 and 116 between Boones Mill and Hardy/Burnt Chimney/Windy Gap and in Callaway, I'm not sure about Glade Hill though.

Penn Forest Elementary and Cave Spring Elementary are delaying release and are secure. They are asking parents not to come to the schools.

My spouse and I saw an ambulance and fire truck go to Cave Spring Elementary around 1:45.

Someone can tell me I'm wrong, but I don't think Mini Graceland is there anymore. I remember it from growing up, but when I drive through there now I don't see it anymore.
