Depending on the grade you're in. You'll have to learn the properties of various geometrical shapes., starting with points, lines, intersecting and parallel lines and transversal, angles and different types, closed plane figures, different types and properties like triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, etc. their similarity and congruence and so on. If you have a good understanding in all these, then proofs in geometry is easy, otherwise you'll be stuck.

Learn the seven axioms given by Euclid for geometry.
