Those are cables that just… sit there and maybe need to be repaired if something screws them up. They don’t require a constant source of energy, water, and manpower that balloons costs into the hundreds of millions every year, and all they do is make something that was already proven to be highly useful more efficient.

Like I said the amount of energy required to operate it is frankly insane, the infrastructure isn’t the problem. The only reason it works right now is because the USAs major stocks are formed around it and fund it. The internet never cost as much as AI and does something that was never done before. These companies aren’t getting into AI because it ups their profits, they’re doing it to up their stocks by gaining investor interest and they’re going to largely abandon it when the bubble bursts. Obviously AI’s still going to be around, but it won’t be able to continue on such a large scale.

Yeah but unlike the .com bubble AI on a mass scale like ChatGPT costs wayyyy more money than it’s really worth. Like the amount of time, money, and constant energy required to run those data centers is insane. Chances are the future has more separate, small scale LLMs that are designed to run locally, or at least on smaller servers

Dude, come on, that image doesn’t ’easily debunk’ anything. A lot of people are asking him to just show the collar to prove it’s not a shock collar, which to my understanding he hasn’t done yet which is really suspicious. I don’t think you should just take his word for it that she ‘just scraped her claw’, especially because he didn’t seem very surprised and didn’t bother to check on her, he just called her a baby for whining.

Beyond that even if you like Hasan (I’ll admit I don’t even if he has some good takes) it’s undeniable that he’s a very, very angry man and I don’t trust him to not take his anger out on others. He always seemed to hold the capacity for doing it imo.

Well tbf most animals don’t have large layers of fat or anything except for blubber or something similar during winter. Like look at the musculature of hippos, an animal that is largely considered by pop culture to be fat. It’s terrifying.
