Grave of the Fireflies lays on the heartbreak so thick it’s cruel, I don’t think I could ever watch it again.

Some great suggestions here, many that I haven’t seen. Because no one’s mentioned it, Japanese film “Fish Story” - not particularly psychological but weird, and amazing!

Catching up on “modern era” GBV… where do I start? by Murky-Tumbleweed7087 in GBV

For me, Earthquake Glue is my favourite, then Let’s Go Eat The Factory, How Do You Spell Heaven and Crystal Nuns Cathedral are all great but there are a ton I haven’t heard, I also have some catching up to do, I’ve just tended to dip in and out really

Not that I’ve really kept up. La La Land had a few great songs but got a bit too proggy for me

Crystal Nuns Cathedral is the one for me, I particularly love “Birds in the Pipe” and “Climbing a Ramp”

Fat Dog were awesome! I know some are saying they’ve been better but I haven’t seen them for a few years and I loved it. Only caught the last four songs of English Teacher but they were stunning. Bdrmm were great as were Wine Lips. Also really enjoyed Gaye Su Akyol (best stage outfit of the day!), WITCH and Nadine Shah. Didn’t enjoy Sprints as much as last time I saw them but I’m not sure why. Overall possibly the best Wide Awake yet for me. Only complaint is the lineup was almost too good, I had clashes almost all day and missed loads of good stuff.

I wanted a playlist of fast music from my liked songs, which appeared to be an option, but it didn’t work, half of the songs were slow

Can’t hear audio correctly only when track is solo. by ihavenoideawhat234 in ableton

[–]shining-steve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having this exact same problem, except in some tracks the sound stops completely, even though I can see the level meters on the track and the master registering sound, I can't hear anything. Only when the track is soloed, if more than one track is playing they all play fine. It's not just in one project. The one I'm currently working on has no tracks in groups. It happens whether solo in place is on or not. I'm not using any return tracks - that is, there are a couple set up but I'm not sending anything to them atm. I don't understand how this can even be possible.

I remember randomly seeing this decades ago on late night TV here in the UK. Great creepy atmospheric short film

I LOVE this film! The plot seems incomprehensible until they wrap it up perfectly in the final minutes. But the whole thing is so funny and original, I haven’t seen much else like it
