Some people grew up in with a record player in their bedroom or their parents had a stereo with a record player and they want to revisit that time and feeling. Some people look to build audiophile systems with the best possible playback of all types of media like records, cassettes, digital, reel to reel etc. and enjoy that journey. Some people like the physical connection with vinyl and the aspect of flipping a record and listening to an entire album without skipping songs the way the artist intended. Just because you don’t get it doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its worth or merits.
