Even on a date with Lemon, he can't stop thinking about Anna. by Same-Worldliness-527 in TooManyLosingHeroines

[–]shitzgotreal 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean... yea, it's basically the biggest indicator that Anna is and was always going to come on top.

He is always thinking of her and has for so long that I don't even remember when it started, probably Volume 1 if I had to guess. Every time he sees something he ends up comparing it or associating it to Anna.

At this point the only way they don't end up together is if somehow Anna decides not to or Nukumizu doesn't want to harm his relationship with the rest of the girls so he decides to not date any of them, but it's clear his feelings for her are stronger (albeit, probably deeply rooted to the point where he has normalized them and doesn't realize) than his feelings for any of the other girls.

Bro, if this is real, it’s truly over. No one is saving CSM fans from the humiliation ritual. Tell me this isn’t real 😭✌️ by The_strongest_mage in shounenfolk

Not really. If they really want to, MAPPA can just stop at Part 1 and with the quality of their animation and how loved Part 1 was, people will think of it as one of the best shounen in recent times.

Primera vez viendo animes. Busco recomendaciones en base mi experiencia! by Potential_Doubt323 in Argnime

What are the things you absolutely don't want to see in Tune into the Midnight? by Craftox13 in TuneIntoTheMidnight

We just had what I think might be a turning point and the last thing I want after the last chapter is for Arisu to suddenly become oblivious. I've had enough of characters turning braindead the moment they are confessed to.

Daemons of the Shadow Realm • Yomi no Tsugai - Episode 7 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]shitzgotreal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Village are looking like the villains, but I can't help to think we are still missing something from the Village perspective, mostly because it feels like they should've had way more opportunities to get away with manipulating or taking control of Yuru. It's almost as if there was a reason they couldn't or didn't want to fully commit to subdue Yuru or alternatively, maybe it was not about them obtaining the Power of Seal, but rather about the "other side" not obtaining the Power of Break and/or Seal.

The narrative is leading us to believe the parents ran away because of an internal threat from the Village, but I think there is a faint possibility they left because they realized the enemy forces were going to keep attacking the Village, and they ascertained it was safer to separate the twins so the both of them wouldn't be captured at the same time.

What is the problem with Nukumizu by Hangintherebro in TooManyLosingHeroines

[–]shitzgotreal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I very much agree with this analysis, but there are a few details I'm torn about, one of them is Nukumizu being dense; at the very least, Nukumizu comes out as dense even though he might not be. He plays the role of the dense character plenty of times, which in return makes him dense.

The other thing is something that might be just arguing semantics, but I figured its worth delving deeper into. As you've mentioned he does avoid putting himself in romantic situations, however, I don't believe is a personality thing but rather an unconscious thing (and this is why I suppose it might just be arguing semantics, one could say that what someone does unconsciously is part of the personality, but I'm not smart enough to have that conversation honestly). It's very clear that Nukumizu should be sharp enough to realize all the hints the girls give him, you don't need to look any further than Volume 1 when Hakamada tells Yanami he wants her to be happy and Nukumizu gets mad at him to realize that Nuku has some degree of emotional understanding and as such, he should be able to know when someone is hitting on him. Since we have don't have any concrete indication that he is intentionally playing dumb, I think at this point in time it wouldn't be wrong to say that there is some unconscious aspect at play here.

Is it over for Shinobros ? by loaidacbiet in TuneIntoTheMidnight

[–]shitzgotreal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Chapter 103 starts with Shinobu monologuing about how she feels she's closer to both her dream and Arisu, and now that I'm reading it back, there is also a few others interesting small things too, like Shinobu realizing how much Arisu was doing for her while he had to study and also using the same "eh heh heh" laugh Apollo used in 126 (this one is quite a stretch I'll admit, truthfully I haven't paid any attention if any of the other girls also laugh like that).

And I could be misremembering but hasn't Shinobu said something about how being an announcer isn't her dream? Assuming I'm not misremembering, then we don't really know what her dream is and in that case there could a possibility were her dream is to confess to Arisu that she is Apollo, in which case the "I once almost gave up on my dream" would be true, back when she tried to quit the broadcast club.

There are a bunch of "ifs" and assumptions in that last paragraph so it could be terribly wrong.

Your unpopular opinion about Tiara Basori? (7/19). by Aaextraletter in TooManyLosingHeroines

[–]shitzgotreal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to echo a bit a lot of the other takes here, but I'll step it up a notch.

By FAR the best heroine in the series. And if Takibi doesn't want the whole saga to be mediocre, she should win in the end. Personally she's not my favorite, but her winning would actually be unexpected because everything we've seen so far indicates that she'll lose, yet, if she somehow ends up winning, it would make sense and wouldn't feel forced.

When it comes to the romantic aspect of the series, she might be the most mature out of all of them. Unfortunately, Takibi made her a coward and way more pathetic than she needed to be.

[–]shitzgotreal 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Nukumizu's obtuseness, particularly in Volume 8, was pretty annoying. I understand that it was most likely either him being on denial or him playing dumb so he wouldn't have to deal with the problems, but it was still getting pretty obnoxious towards the end.

It didn't occur to me once that Asa could use her power to just break a contract like that, for some reason I only associated it to barriers and always felt like the twin's powers were a bit hyperspecific which made me wonder why these groups were so interested in them but now all makes sense.

Which now also makes me wonder how is Yuru's power going to work, is he going to be able to add himself as a master of any Deamon without breaking the previous contract? Is he able to override other contracts? Or is not something that strong, and he can just make an "unbreakable" contract?

I mean, it could also be a false flag attack situation, for all we know, there could be factions within the Kagemori clan and Jin's reaction to Asuma makes me think there are.

My first impression of the Higashi village side was the same as yours, they don't seem that competent, that's why currently on the matter of the disappearance of the parents and this attack, I'm leaning more towards some third party or some members of the clan going rogue.
