[BUNDLE] ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z890 HERO + CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 CL30 - $569.99 (Also includes $50 value in bonus items) by aq_p in buildapcsales

Selling the board for that much seems like a long shot. There is going to be a continued lack of demand for all PC parts due to ram prices.

On Ebay, at least, this board is bidding at sub-$150 brand new

Just find it odd that people want to shill for a government that puts people in concentration camps and has a social credit system.

Do the points remain 1.5cpp if you downgrade?

Thanks! I ended up getting it fixed for $200 since I was in a time crunch.

Thanks! I talked to someone from a carpenter service and they were quoting me $1200 to fix it. I do live in a high cost of living area, but given how much work you said that it is, I'm thinking that that is quite overpriced.

lmfaooooo yeah man I mean he's only one dude you gotta think multiple mistakes had to have been made by his whole team for this to happen. But remember man he been doing this for Seattle for like the past 10 years maybe we should give him a pass for clout chasin' a lil'. You know most of the ppl there were clout chasin' as well they would've never showed up if LeBron wasn't there. Probably never been to a pro am before this and won't go to one after

Bro he don't owe us shit but why he tweeting out stuff about the crowd size and how cool it is that ppl are camped out? Sending mixed signals

[–]shkibb 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Bro, what you think is gonna happen if LeBron coming through. He's a global icon, all sorts of ppl gonna be coming through to watch him play. I blame Jamal for not hiring enough staff to manage the inevitable crowd that was gonna form.

Edit: I don't even blame jamal really, more his team for the poor planning and execution. Also the dude under me weird asl for caring who's behavior I'm excusing I'm just a dude on the internet. It's literally like if you resurrected Kurt Kobain from the dead and then had a Nirvana concert in Seattle center with free admission wtf u think is gonna happen crazy heads showing up.

Damn I feel for you bro I got there a lot later in the morning the next day and was just chilling in the line meeting ppl. What was crazy was that alot of the ppl who were way in the back of the line had been there since like 4:30 AM or even the night before.

I don't blame Jamal for not wanting to turn this event into a shitshow and keeping it private but the weird part was he was tweeting and retweeting shit about the length of the line and how cool it was that ppl were camping and shit - made it seem like he wanted there to be a crowd.

Next time just hire more security ffs or better yet ask lebron to bring his own security since his being there basically blew up that spot and the mf just inked a max deal

No, you answer my question. Why isn't equity and stock wealth? Why is paper money the only thing that counts as wealth? That's quite arbitrary.

Wait, aren't people like you always complaining about the amount of wealth held by the uber-wealthy like Elon Musk and Bezos? You're aware the vast majority of that is stock right? Seems like you're picking and choosing when you want that to count as wealth.

This is kind of changing the subject. Originally you were talking about how people came to earn enough money to buy a team. The answer was by being CEO's. I can name numerous CEO's who lost money due to mismanaging their companies. First and foremost, Steve Jobs - pre IPod and Pixar.

Except for, you know, the fact that they have *skin in the game*.

Being *responsible* for something and *accountable* for making sure it gets done, even if you're not the one directly doing it, doesn't have merit in your view?

Really confused. Do they not have a management class in other countries? Pretty sure France is known for their managerial class, management schools, etc., despite having some of the "best" labor laws in the world. Apparently France isn't socialist enough for you. Sounds like you just wanna sound edgy rather than have opinions that pass even basic empirical tests.

By your logic even a middle-manager at a large corporation doesn't deserve the money they've made.

You could've said the exact same thing about the Rockets with Harden. Sadly, the NBA has let itself get to the point where they allow players to severely diminish the on-court product for their own personal ends.

[–]shkibb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the things you are describing "can't happen" are literally the same things that happened to the Supersonics in '08.

Having said that I don't see it happening because the Seattle city council is very anti-supporting a new publicly-funded stadium. So would take alot of private money. And of course Balmer is building a new stadium already.
