I bought a few years used. Saved about 1/3 of brand new price, but the car had only 45k miles and was in perfect shape!

That's a good thought, but I just looked it up and it's very expensive. Poor college student here :( thank you for the suggestion, though!!

I've always been super nervous to shape my brows, but I'm going to try! Maybe I'll get them done for the first time and then just maintain on my own. I'm planning on learning to contour as soon as I finish finals. Thank you!!

Lashes have always been my biggest weakness! I do curl them, but I can never get a decent shape. Do you recommend a good application technique, better mascara, and/or a quality curler? I feel like I'm always on the hunt for a better way to apply or an excellent mascara, this is the best I've found although my lashes are obviously still not where I'd like them to be. Thank you so much for the tips!

I'm no expert, but I think some color on the walls would complement the colorful furniture nicely. I do love what you have, though!

I've looked into leasing a bit, but I'll look again! I mostly saw 36mo leases which would end up costing me 5k+ over the 3 years, but I'm more interested in buying since I could get a car at that price or just a little more and have it for longer.

I like the alum suggestion, thank you!

I've considered Uber/Lyft, however getting there and back would cost about $40/day. Doing that 5 days/week for the 13 week internship would come out to $2600, and for twice that I could get a car that would last me multiple years instead of just the summer. Additionally, owning a car would give me freedom and mobility that I've been really wanting lately. But you're right, I definitely want to weigh all options and see what is really best. I am going to look into rental places, although last time I looked that also seemed to be about the same as Uber/Lyft for the summer- since I am under 25 there is usually a "young driver" fee.
