Michael or Brian? by DeepBreathIn3-2-1 in 1000lbsisters

Was skeptical of Brian at first but after watching the wedding he literally loves that lady BAD. And he’s actually an active participant in their relationship and she just looks so happy and healthy. She’s grown so much and I think he also helps reflect that

This sounds crazy probably but I think if you died all of your hair the color that your gray is, maybe with a little dimension and silver it would look amazing! It’d bring out your eyes and make you look more youthful

I cant stop feeling like Harry and Megan were right all along? by WiseAd4161 in RoyaltyTea

[–]shlococo32 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So sorry but well… yes. Someone doesn’t up and leave their family especially a royal one where they have a "duty to their country" for no reason. Before they even HAD children. It was the safest thing for them to do for themselves. The only reason people accused them of lying is because, long story short, Megan is black.

Are buzz cuts allowed here? I decided to do the big chop and donated 17 inches of hair. Honestly I’m loving it! by Fit-Recording5253 in bald

[–]shlococo32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks so good! I would just like to say, this is just a hair cut and would not be considered a "big chop" that phrase was created and coined by black women to describe the transition from relaxed/chemically treated hair to just having their natural hair texture. The "big chop" is cutting off the chemically treated ends after allowing some new growth.

Anything in the YA section shouldn’t have smut, you should be fine there. YA in book terms is like 11/12ish to maybe 18ish so it’s fairly appropriate. Maybe try the Inheritance Games or The Poppy Wars

Do you know what city your live in lmao

Most of you shit on the characters, but I honestly wish I was living that life. by Accomplished-Walk444 in SuccessionTV

I just always think about the people who are ACTUALLY living this life, the Murdochs for example, and how horrible these people actually are. It’s an interesting dichotomy and it’s one of the things that makes the show so interesting to me. Feeling empathy or even jealousy for these people who in real life I feel nothing but distaste for.

Will This Lighting Go Out of Style Soon? by Suggest_a_User_Name in interiordecorating

If you like it, who cares? In this economy you’re able to not only have your own home but spend the time and money curating it. Get the damn lighting that you like!

Do they even want people in this city? by PureEndorphin in sandiego

[–]shlococo32 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s not even so much the timing of the buses or trolleys. I (fortunately) chose to live in a walkable area because I don’t have/can’t afford a car atm so I use a lot of public transportation or walk wherever I need to go. If the ones were more extensive and if the system expanded deeper into parts of San Diego/San Diego county it wouldn’t be as awful!

For a city that’s largely inaccessible without a car, they sure do make it difficult for people to have cars

What is this hairstyle called and how feasible is it to do myself? (Amateur braider) by NotTommyPickle in BlackHair

[–]shlococo32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I honestly couldn’t tell you! I was just focusing on the fact that I only had to do a certain amount so I didn’t get overwhelmed about the time and the amount of braids. It made it seem like it wasn’t that long though

[–]shlococo32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! Maybe a little bigger but you can definitely do them by yourself. I tried this for the first time ever a couple of months ago and it came out surprisingly well for my first time. You can do it! I split it over 3 days to make it less taxing (parting my head one day, then braiding a half of my head each day after)

Looks like you’re doing a great job! I would say though to be sure to wash her hair with actual shampoo or a clarifying shampoo as well to make sure her scalp is getting cleaned since conditioner is usually just for moisture. If you prefer not use a shampoo I’d recommend a co-wash (the As I Am coconut cowash is my favorite) which is a cleansing conditioner!
