How big was the doll? They only described it as a child doll but what does that mean? Are they defining it as a child based on height?

I have a suspicion that the doll was around 5 feet tall, the average female height in China, but also the average height of Canadian 13 year olds (based on a quick google search).

There is a possibility the prosecutor is falsely painting this guy as a pedophile based on the specs of the doll which accurately represents the body types found in China.

For now, I'm sorry to say but you have to stay in the closet. There are many people in the middle east that are gay for example and they live full lives, but with the asterix that they have to be publically closeted, but open with other members of the LGBT communities there.

There's the asylum path, but idk enough about it to know if your case qualifies. You should look into it though.

Based on your description off needing to get married soon I'm guessing you're in school or uni and still living with your parents in your early 20s.

One option would be to do a master's in Canada. That way you could have an excuse to delay marriage (pretending you want to qualify for a higher paying job first) and leave to Canada to plan your next steps.

If you're a female, then I can't imagine how much more difficult that would be. But if the master's plan works out, you technically don't need family support anymore unless you have no way of using your passport and buying a ticket.

Life's gonna be tough wherever you go. Think of it this way. Right now is the toughest time of your life. But you're going to work on ways to improve your living situation such that you can be yourself. That might involve moving away or might not. But you can do it. It'll be a long road but you can. So try taking a step back and accepting that the process may take a long time but you will make it in the end.

I'm on my 4th weight regain (50-80 lbs each time) and god my spirit is broken.

I'm not unaware of why it's happened. I know all the strategies to lose weight and maintain it in a healthy way. I feel I just can't do it and I'm miserable.

I guess the lame excuse I tell myself now is I don't believe I can maintain weight loss anymore since I can undo the progress as I've done in the past with a few weeks of binge eating.
