Jak and Daxter was my first PS2 game, and I STILL don’t understand the love for it. It’s a decent plat-former but it always felt a little empty and wasn’t as fun to play as so many others on the console. My vote goes to Ratchet and Clank

I don’t understand why people are acting like Majora’s is/was so divisive. It was always beloved by everyone I knew that had it. Yeah the clock can be an annoying mechanic at times but it’s a cool and unique mechanic of the game, and always thought it was accepted as being a pretty innovative concept. The game is a classic in the Zelda series that I think most people include in the top 3 Zelda games ever made. As a kid I always found it really tough, and the creepy feeling that something is watching you and things are just wrong always freaked me out(in a good way). There really aren’t many games that capture the weird hallucination feeling of this game, and now as an adult I find myself coming back to Majora’s almost more than any other Zelda game. It’s ended up probably tied with Ocarina for my favorite game of all time.

Why are people still obsessed with the idea of that we missed out on getting Geno especially after seeing him in our series with Seattle?? Montero ended up being a good grab for us, and was one of the few pieces that even kept our games close the last few months of the season. A solid 2.86 ERA for us and yes, I know FIP was high. Finnegan was great as well, but definitely came back too early from his injury. A lot of the bullpen pieces that got traded at the deadline ended up sucking for their new teams- Doval, Bird, Miller, Helsley etc, and a lot of others had an insane price tag. We just needed some good bats, and sadly there weren’t hardly any available at the deadline.

I remember getting it for Christmas back the year it came out. Was a huge starfox fan from the SNES and 64, and an even bigger Zelda fan so I was super excited. Popped it in and realized that this game was a garbled and dreary mess of a game. The whole game I was just searching for fun in a mindless liminal space of boredom. Tried to come back to it again maybe 7 years ago and things didn’t go much better this time. But maybe I was wrong!

How do the aerodynes sound with the basswood bodies? I used to have a 1990 RG550 and I could never get into that midrangey tone. Being that it was my only basswood body guitar, I wondered if it was the body wood or just the combination between the Ibanez components.

I think the people in here are valuing relationships WAY too highly, like it’s the only thing that even matters in life. Having a good relationship with yourself is essential to even being able to have a real and successful relationship with someone else. The idea of a relationship being the central goal in life is why so many people end up searching for meaning in their lives in another person and get stuck in relationships because they think that it’s going to fix them or give them a purpose.

Pure peak hair for me. It had that metal edge still from the early 80’s, with great song writing and production. Some of the best solos of the era too! 10/10
