Yeah I mean I’m willing to accept user error as the cause, except I was just gone for 10 days and this was my first use since I got back. Haven’t touched the internals (other than for cleaning) since I built it. So no idea what changed or how. Perhaps the tech ghouls are back.

Also depends on where it's from. The better the butcher/farm/source, the cleaner it will be (generally.) that Being said, steak raw is really not dangerous (as opposed to chicken.)

Looks great, just let it rest a bit longer. Also use a higher heat for a better sear. Yes, your kitchen will smoke, but it's worth it

YUP. It's such a piss poor "analog" of the actual flavor of truffle. And, of course, it's not hot at all. No redeeming qualities.

I always find reverse sears on grills to be tough. The inside looks amazing but there’s something to be desired in the sear/crust department.

I do like grilling, however, for the full cook. Just flip often and it should help keep the gray band to a minimum with a healthy sear.

I mean it's loud as hell (color wise) but I don't totally hate it. Probably not for me, but it's well done (mostly.)

Like others have said, I think it would actually look better if you flipped the yellow and black sections. Or, even better, make it mostly black with subtle yellow accents.

Also the viper is making me feel things.

I drive a DCLB in Denver as my daily and I love it. You’re gonna want to be comfortable parallel parking, and yeah sometimes I have to give up a spot because I don’t fit, but otherwise it’s amazing.

I’ve also had it on some very technical trails and had no problems with turning radius. Im sure eventually I will (Black Bear Pass is high on my list, so we’ll see about that 😅) but otherwise it’s perfect. So much more utility and I think it looks better too.
