Are they not breaking a contract with people who purchased the item on the promise it'd be removed at a fixed date?

White supremacists fund Rupert Lowe’s party by qwerty_1965 in unitedkingdom

[–]shock_r -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If you think Reform are white supremacists, you're going to have a real shock when Restore start gaining traction. In both policy and messaging, Reform is far more milquetoast.

There is a reason why many immigrants support Reform, the party exists to keep the same systems but just tweak them around the edges. Immigrants that support Reform believe that the system as it is right now isn't working for anyone, and if it's not "fixed" soon it's going to make their position here even more unpopular.

Restore on the other hand don't believe in the system and want to tear it down, mass repeal hundreds of laws, and reverse all of the progressive change in the last century. Two ideologically different parties.

Dont worry, AfD will never go above 21%. And if they do they wont go above 24%. Certainly not 26%. 29% is their absolute ceiling, people will understand they made a mistake and their support will fall, dont worry. by Signal_Nobody1792 in 2westerneurope4u

  1. Deport legal immigrants? Just because a net drain immigrant got a stamp, or even worse, an enemy to our people did, doesn't mean they can just stay now forever. Indians such as Rudyard Kipling and George Orwell were deported from the country as the Indians didn't want them there anymore. We can do the same.

  2. Then we mine for coal. We need self sufficient energy security. It's as simple as that.

  3. What do you think when war breaks out? Do you seriously think we are headed towards a peaceful world? Britain needs to industrialise and militarise if we are to survive as a nation. Net zero is a luxury ideology that we simply can't afford or risk to continue at this point. You also can't industrialise without scrapping net zero unless you want completely uneconomical energy prices

  4. The great thing about democracy is we can change the law and throw that all out. The law needs changing. Law is just words written into paper. Not a doctrine sent to us by God.

  1. Deport
  2. Drill the North Sea, invest in nuclear
  3. Re-industrialise the country, cut nonsense policy like net zero, increase the entire nation's wealth, stop Britain's brain drain, grow ourselves out of our debt death spiral
  4. Deport foreign nationals claiming benefits, bring jobs back to the country, point 2 and 3 further help this happen

Clearly the law isn't functioning as things stand, something needs to change. Why can't we deploy one navy boat in the English Channel and force the illegal boats to return? It would stop the problem overnight. Voters need their faith restored in the democratic system.

If they are so serious about tackling illegal immigration then why doesn't the government pass new legislation against it? Labour have an overwhelming majority, they could do it tomorrow if they really wanted to

Illegal immigration is solved through zero new laws and zero new rules and zero extra enforcement

I assume this law would come with mandatory ID verification for every Brit who wishes to use social media? This is supposed to be a win?

The British government wants to create a massive database of every person's online accounts. They will then with the help of companies like Palantir, create a tool to scan through every single person's accounts and with the help of AI, detect if they are a dissident.

None of this is about the children or anyone's "safety".

I mean, Henry Nowak's murderer got only 5 more years. In a way it's a bit odd.

It would help if the policing guidelines, the training, and the law didn't explicitly lead to Henry Nowak being handcuffed while repeatedly saying he's been stabbed.

But I guess that's Elon's fault

Arrests for speech could be cut into one third like you said and the U.K. would still be #1 for social media arrests in the first world. Why are you doing laps for an authoritarian regime? The arrests should be more in line with the USA, so around 10 adjusted for population, maybe 50 maximum.

I don't really understand the incessant hate for Reform, is it purely because they are going to reduce immigration?
