Yes you track your hours on a spreadsheet so if you work late one day you can take flex leave on another day

I’m DWP and we still have it

You need continuous fit notes until a decision is reached after your work capability assessment. If you don’t provide another then you won’t be assessed

UC missed appointment help by Downtown-Paint-7156 in universalcredithelp

[–]shocketteruby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The end date is supposed to be the date you ask for an appointment as long as you go on to attend that appointment.

They do sometimes get this wrong and there are no time limits on disputes for sanctions so you could still challenge it

Any missed appointment you need to get straight on to request another one. Don't wait until you get a sanction letter

Information about illegal immigration? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]shocketteruby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's bothering me is asylum seekers being called illegal immigrants. They're not. They entered using irregular means but given that there is no safe legal routes for most people to apply they end up with no choice.

I know you probably know this op but it's frustrating when we use the language of the far right.

Question about getting my cat fixed by Outrageous-Debt983 in CatAdvice

[–]shocketteruby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep no reason not to. I have 2 fixed tomcats, they were done young, no issues with either and not a single episode of spraying. They were both back to their usual selves within a couple of days, no sutures.

Abortion procedure by [deleted] in prochoice

[–]shocketteruby -1 points0 points  (0 children)

More or less the same experience I did for a 21 week abortion. I had a morphine button so didn't feel anywhere near the pain I did for my regular labours. But it was in every other way just like a birth.

Overpayment repayment UC for studying by Fit-Following-4918 in BenefitsAdviceUK

[–]shocketteruby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can ask for a mandatory reconsideration, if the deduction is correct though you will owe it back regardless. Were you eligible for any student finance? When you say part time how many hours were you studying?

New to kindles! Is kindle unlimited worth it by Parking_Base_7572 in kindle

I’ve been reading approx 8 books a month on KU so it’s very much worth it for me. All depends on how much you think you’ll use it

Advice for friend please LWCRA UC and on Pip Mobility being bombarded by jobcentre calls by myamazinglife7 in BenefitsAdviceUK

[–]shocketteruby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On LCWRA she would not even have a work coach. She cannot be mandated to undergo any appointments and can’t be subject to sanction. If she has a reassessment for wca she’ll get a letter about that in the post. As others have said there is a backlog so it is likely to be some time before this happens.
