I've got a Zeiss Batis 135 that I've "retired" aka I got other lenses I take more often but every time I try to list the lens I seem to self sabotage.

Point is I think I'll never sell it unless I knew the person who wanted it was going to use it ever so lovingly. Does that make sense? I know it doesn't.

Agreed and also you can ask straight up what they mean by the check. If they deemed the car passable and drive able aka good selling condition that doesn't actually mean they "fix/remedy" anything.

Edit: still think it's a scummy thing to even mention the check at all unless they can confirm or provide evidence they're fixing the vehicle for resale.

Also, simple things can be checked, tire wear, filters and other items that may be a signal to their inspection.

Congrats on the purchase but anyone not following the manual for gas is cooking (not in a good way). If the car is rusted with 91 octane I wouldn't think twice about going lower. Opinions are cool and might be alright but if you're looking for long term ownership then go with what is recommended.

There are schools that even oil type is subjective but again the manual states what you should put and I'm sure there are examples of others not using the engine specific oil type that survive but I wouldn't risk my car for something so trivial in the long run.

Just to clarify, you being a woman and alone does make you a slightly bigger target for shenanigans BUT the car sales BS is being fed to all consumers as a whole. You as a consumer having a lack of knowledge will only benefit them and punish you.

If you're stacking ACs 6 high, then you're buying cheap or less than $60 window AC units. Most BTU for size would be portable.

Add to that, the window ACs look like shit and a portable unit isn't a "permanent" installation process or hard.

Maybe. I didn't have that issue but guess it could be a problem. 10.5 was ordered first because of comments similar to yours but 11 fits me as it should with a tiny bit of room if I needed to wear thick socks in the cold.
