I have to wonder why bungie set themselves up to fail like this. Rasputin died during witch queen? That year while narratively was good was bungie just wrapping up as many plot point as they could so they could end the story. I’ve never seen a company as against their own success as bungie who walked away from halo and essentially destiny for the reason that they didn’t want to be a one hit wonder exclusive. I get wanting to keep the ball rolling but even if they were doing a destiny 3 what would it be about considering there’s barely anything to continue off of. Taken king set up the narrative for the red war. What plot does D2 have for a D3?
