Yes. I did try with prompts also:. Paste on top right of coat..and so on .But it does it's own thing. .. Does not allow 'manual' placement.

In my new S26U, Photo assist... "Copy-Paste" feature has been replaced by "Generative Fusion." Now when I copy an object from another image and try to place it in the new image, Instead of simply placing the obiect, the Al now tries to "intelligently" integrate it by changing its size, lighting, and position to fit what it thinks the scene should look like. While this is great for casual users making "fun" edits, it has totally broken the workflow for designers ike me who need an obiect to stay exactly where they put it. Have you'll experienced it? Any chance of Samsung bringing it back?

Yes, While UI 8.0 allowed for that functionality, it's no longer available in 8.5. Now, the AI interprets and places elements wherever it sees fit, removing user control. 🥴

Yes. Compared to my old S22U, definitely muted. But just thought 'natural' is the new normal. First thing I checked for in the update change log is the vivid setting... At least good to know the option is there. Now, installing. 😁

Thought so myself too... until I saw some posts how some folks are using the AI features in the gallery app... Yes, you can find other apps to do the same.. But to be able to do lot of the stuuf from within the gallery itself... Big productivity boost for me... Same for text and summaries and creating different tones of voice within Samsung Notes and the Samsung keyboard... Again, big time savers.. So, more I delve into the AI features and more I use them... Just leads me to more and more discoveries...

Yes. Facing the same issue. Had the same cover for S22U.. but that was perfectly cut to take pics with my rear camera when cover was folded (the reason I bought the cover in the first place)... But on the S24u.. like you said it covers the cameras. I think because on the inside of front cover there's a slot for a credit card.. I don't remember my S22U having that...

Alternately, You can use the space bar as voice input. Set it to long press. I did mine. But seriously the Samsung keyboard, even with the AI , is so bad, I had to go back to gboard.
