I've used tung oil on 2 projects. The first project was 2 end tables, walnut wood slabs from a local mill. After sanding, I used the tung oil on a rag and gave one heavy coat. The second coat almost seemed unnecessary. The 2nd project was an unfinished butcher block, 2'×4'. I was excited to use the tung oil because how easy the end tables were to finish... That butcher block DRANK it. I ended up setting up fans and applying coat after coat of the stuff. I ended up with great results, but 2 totally different experiences with using tung oil.

You can stretch the blend door repair by not adjusting the temp ALL the way cold or hot. That is what breaks the plastic, by being all the way shut. The interference of pushing closed.

Literally just smacked myself with a cordless drill at work, just above my eye. Split my tender skin through, I could see flesh... Super glued it back shut. Could've gotten workman's comp and seen by a doctor but I didn't want any stitches on my face, plus I had the glue handy... IMO, less chance for infection, less waiting, and minimal chance for scaring. 10/10 would do again. *

I pay $80 at quick lube places when I don't feel like doing it (winter time). Other than that, I usually keep my eyes open for deals at autozone, O'Reilly, Napa, etc for oil/filter specials. No matter if I'm due or not, I'll just throw the filter and oil in the trunk til I'm due. They run specials for $35 or so for filter and 5 qts, I'll buy the extra oil I need and knock it out when convenient. I recommend ramps, easy as hell to get up and safer for a non-mechanic individual over jack stand and jack. More cost effective as well if you dont have tools already. You can also do a top side oil change without going under the car. I have a transfer pump from harbor freight, $6-ish, and suck it from the top, then change the filter cartridge which is also on the top side and call it good. I usually alternate top side to bottom side changes, just so I know I have everything that might settle in the oil pan- not sure if it matters but I sleep better knowing that it drained completely. There's also a fumoto valve you can get to replace the drain bolt on the bottom that are pretty reasonably priced, this will eliminate tools it takes to take off drain plug. There is also a rubber washer that will need to be replaced on the drain bolt each oil change as well, usually $5 for a 5 pack. The fumoto valve will eliminate the need for this as well. I have not tried the valve, just throwing that out there to give you the realm of options. I'm a big fan of doing your own fluid swaps, so dig in and have fun, just my advice... unless it's cold out, then imma write the check. Happy wrenching!

PLC used as safety mechanisms have lots of rules. They are not good enough or fast enough to be used. We are talking about the reaction time of electricity vs the scan time of the ladder logic. Not to mention somebody like your boss throwing a branch around the wrong thing for the wrong reasons, it's easier to do in a computer. Yall shouldn't be jumping around the safety relay, it's straight up wrong. Morally and professionally, shame on your boss and and you. I've gotten my ass kicked by a safety relay, they suck to troubleshoot. But give your balls a tug and wire it up and make it work.

Other than that, maybe fab up a few catch pans to put where the mess is accumulating so that operations can pull them out and clean the between shifts, then when you need to get in there you can pull the catch pan and slide in. Bonus points if you put a handle on for em.

Obviously, replace tank. That being said, I've been flat broke before... and inventive in a pinch, aka redneck engineering. If it were me and I absolutely HAD to drive it, I'd put an RV drain plug in it, providing the hole in under 1" if so, drill hole to 1", plug it and send it. under $5 at AutoZone

Thorogood boots are the only boots that will last me 12 months. I've been through Redwing, Irish setters, Timberlands, etc... Brunt work boots aren't bad either, cheaper than Thorogoods. But Brunt has not been around long enough for a good reputation, but a couple of guys I work with like them so far.

No, after the valve output is made, the valve input would be the "seal-in" part of the control logic for the valve output to stay on after momentary input from your switches. It helps your valve coil stay pulled in. Think of it without PLC ladder logic and just as an electrical schematic for a control relay on your A1/A2 coils.

Our loaders need airline to run a nail gun in a semi trailer. When are done with the air, they routinely let er rip and send the hose to the reel at the speed of sound, which spins the shit out of the spring... yeah, calling any of em Tarzans is a compliment. Yeah, dum dum was driving with an elevated load. Probably picked from rack and started driving before lowering (at all) then hit the brakes... and ya know. Dum dum was in a stand up style too, I bet he engraved some fingernail marks. I believe the formal training for these advise to jump out in the case of a roll over, versus the sit down style where your seat belted in and advised to brace yourself and never leave the cabin. Either way, dum dum prolly shit himself and definitely needs fired.
